:Job Title: Head of VDI Infrastructure, Exchange, and CollaborationJob OverviewThe Head of VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure) Infrastructure, Exchange, and Collaboration is responsible for leading the design, implementation, and management of the organization\'s VDI systems, email services, and collaboration tools. This role involves strategic planning, project management, and operational oversight to ensure that these critical systems are reliable, secure, and scalable.Key Responsibilities1. Strategic Planning and Leadership

• Develop and execute a strategic vision for the organization\'s VDI, Exchange, and collaboration tools.
• Lead a team of IT professionals, providing direction, mentorship, and performance management.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the organization\'s systems are up-to-date and innovative.

2. VDI Infrastructure Management

• Oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of VDI systems.
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of the VDI infrastructure.
• Implement best practices for VDI security and disaster recovery.

3. Exchange and Email Services

• Manage the organization\'s email systems, including Microsoft Exchange or other email platforms.
• Ensure the email infrastructure is secure, reliable, and meets the needs of the business.
• Implement and manage email policies, spam filtering, and data retention policies.

4. Collaboration Tools

• Oversee the deployment and management of collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, or other similar platforms.
• Ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of these tools.
• Promote user adoption and provide training and support to maximize the benefits of collaboration tools.

5. Project Management

• Lead projects related to the implementation and enhancement of VDI, email, and collaboration systems.
• Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure project success and alignment with business goals.

6. Vendor Management

• Manage relationships with vendors and service providers.
• Negotiate contracts and ensure the organization receives high-quality service and support.
• Evaluate and select new technologies and solutions in collaboration with stakeholders.

7. Compliance and Security

• Ensure all systems comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Implement robust security measures to protect data and prevent unauthorized access.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify and mitigate risks.

QualificationsEducation and Experience

• Bachelor\'s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Master\'s degree preferred).
• 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management, with a focus on VDI, email services, and collaboration tools.
• Proven experience in a leadership role, managing teams and large-scale IT projects.

Technical Skills

• Deep understanding of VDI technologies (e.g., VMware Horizon, Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Exchange and other email platforms.
• Experience with collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, or Slack.
• Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, security, and data protection.
