:OverviewThis role is for Price Scrubbing Team which include the functions like generating various reports from Bloomberg and other data vendors, comparing price movement for securities, completing all the investigation for securities out of tolerance, Pricing of all securities from the data base, Daily, Weekly, Monthly reporting\'s. The incumbent needs to understand the laws of the region supported and perform day to day work in accordance with procedure set for an activity. The role needs to work in rotational shift and there would be shifts starting at 10:00 AM.Our Fund Solutions business, which operates out of multiple locations including Leeds, London, Dublin, Exeter, Luxembourg, and Mumbai, with \xc2\xa3100bn+ of assets and circa 500 people, is looking for an Asset Operations Analyst to join our Investment Operations team in Mumbai.The business is building an Investment Operations function that will support the centralisation of a range of activities that cover the full lifecycle of an investment fund. The Leeds team will help establish this \xe2\x80\x9chub and spoke\xe2\x80\x9d model which includes building and collaborating with a team based in Mumbai as well as delivering high quality outputs to the business teams located across Europe.The roles will suit people with a strong background in Investment Fund administration and Investment Compliance monitoring. Candidates should be comfortable with using some of the industry standard tools available to deliver Investment Compliance Monitoring, Oversight and Reporting, Trade Oversight, Fast Market monitoring, Asset Pricing, Swing Pricing, and other responsibilities associated with managing and overseeing all the assets associated with the funds Link Fund Solutions is responsible for.Key Accountabilities and main responsibilitiesStrategic Focus

  • Ensure all internal and external service levels and regulatory deadlines are met within the Price scrubbing team
  • Ensure all task procedures are followed in order to result in accurate prices for all the securities where the team is able. On an ongoing basis, ensure suggestions are provided for procedure updates to Team Leaders for reflecting updates brought about from internal policy or regulation changes
  • Support and review business process and system changes, ensuring business accuracy around all documentation and impacts to service delivery
  • Develop and maintain relationships with Link Fund Solutions internal teams (e.g., Investment Compliance, Investment Risk, Client Services, IT, Oversight, Finance, Compliance, Product and Change Delivery)
Operational Management
  • Respond to enquiries promptly, proactively handling issues, and striving for the highest levels of customer service
  • Assist Team leader for accurately review, and complete various operations in a timely manner including but not limited, review of Pricing report, Pricing tasks, price variance report, data updated correctly in the system, review of Pricing related activities, etc.
  • Assist Team leader for maintaining department procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements, SLA\'s, best practice, and Company policies.
  • To develop and maintain positive working relationships with Clients, IMD\'s, Depositories, etc and key contacts.
  • Provide a contact point and/or assistance with queries from Clients, IMD\'s, Depositories, etc and key contacts.
  • Resolving complaints and solving problems on behalf of Clients, IMD\'s, Depositories, etc.
  • Provide information to Clients, IMD\'s, Depositories, etc on request.
People Leadership
  • Support the continued creation of the \xe2\x80\x9chub and spoke\xe2\x80\x9d operating model, ensuring offshore hub is established with appropriate controls
  • Liaise with the Team Leader and Operations Managers to bring about positive change within the Department.
  • Assist Team leader for overseeing all the tasks related to compliance, and making sure they are completed with accuracy
  • Create and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and assist other areas of the business as and when required.
  • Maintain an awareness and understanding of the investment industry.
  • Maintain own professional competence.
Governance & Risk
  • Identify instances of non-compliance and refer to the Team Leader or Operations Manager, Leeds Senior Managers, and the Compliance Department, and resolve them.
  • Emerging risks are identified, assessed, and captured within the departmental risk register and, where appropriate, subject to escalation to senior management.
  • Operational controls are carried out in accordance with the laid down business policies and procedures.
  • Actions for control improvements are dealt with in accordance with agreed timescales.
  • Proactivity in identifying areas for control improvement
Experience & Personal Attributes
  • Knowledge of UK fund legislation, Pricing scrubbing and the regulatory environment
  • Previous experience of working in a Pricing team or Fund Accounting, Investment industry
  • Previous experience of investigating price variance, Bloomberg terminal work experience, asset pricing, fair value pricing and fast market exposure.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft applications (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Excellent analytical skills with particular focus on investment / market data
  • The ability to work to strict deadlines whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy
  • Proven ability to operate independently and take the initiative
  • A Bachelors or master\'s degree in Business Or Finance Or Banking related discipline from a reputed College/University.
  • Able to maintain a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure/to tight deadlines. Experience of working in a busy highly deadline-driven department
  • Willingness to work in Rotational Shifts which would start at 10:00 AM
Desirable
  • Previous experience in a Price scrubbing
  • Experience of Asset trade administration
  • Relevant regulatory exams (e.g., IOC, IMC) would be preferred
  • 4+ years\' experience in Fund industry.
