GBS also maintains continuous improvement plans to enhance our customer-oriented service culture.About the JobWe are currently seeking a Senior Power BI Developer with F&A Background to join our team based in Noida. Hierarchically reports to BI Manager NoidaMission of the position :

• Engage with BI Partners to gather data and reporting requirements and understand their operational needs.
• Recommend and deliver on the best available solution based on available BI tools and technologies.
• Work with different clients based on different locations and develop an understanding of their functional aspects.
• Develop efficient reports by following the standards and implementing the best BI methodologies & ensure data accuracy and consistency across all reports.
• Drive maintenance of BI reporting, including access and modifications request management.

Main Accountabilities:

• Responsible for planning, designing, developing, implementing and maintaining Microsoft Power BI dashboards and reports
• Understand business requirements in BI context and design data models to transform raw data into meaningful insights
• Convert business requirements into technical specifications and decide timeline to accomplish
• Create relationships between data and develop tabular and other multidimensional data models
• Develop strong data documentation/BI Specification about algorithms, parameters, models, and relations.
• Requirement gathering discussions with business stakeholders and develop blueprints of their expectations.
• Participation in SIT & UAT for any delivered report.
• Perform M language queries, DAX queries and other functions in Power BI.
• Optimize reports, manage change requests, and handle bug fixes
• SQL querying for better performance and Row Level Security for data governance

• Be comfortable with extracting data from multiple data sources by configuring Power BI gateways, and using M scripting to connect and refresh the data
• Work closely with multiple functions in organization to facilitate training and education on BI tools & techniques for sustainable long term improvements.

Knowledge/Background:

• Experience in BI reporting and significant experience in use of Microsoft Power BI and/or experience in shared services with strong BI background & data appetite.
• Finance & Accounting related educational background & working experience.
• Strong experience in data analysis (including statistics background)
• Project delivery framework, direct client interaction & project documentation.
• Fluency in verbal and written English language
• Working experience in MS applications, i.e. MS Excel, Word, Powerpoint, outlook.

Entry Qualifications:

• University degree in related field in Information Systems, Business Administration or Finance & Accounting.
• 5+ years of experience in successful BI reporting using Microsoft Power BI / Power Platform tools.
• Comprehensive knowledge of data design, data modeling, data management, and data visualization
• Experience in Document process, models, designs and solutions and able to explain, represent, and discuss with the tea
