About the Job

We are currently seeking an Senior Power BI Developer to join our team based at Noida.

Main accountabilities

• Lead the design and development of complex BI solutions using Power BI, ensuring optimal data visualization, performance, and usability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, understand business needs, and translate them into effective BI solutions.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize data models, ETL processes, and data pipelines to ensure accurate and timely data integration.
• Manage the entire lifecycle of BI projects, from conception to delivery, ensuring adherence to timelines, and quality standards.
• Conduct thorough unit testing and validation of BI solutions to guarantee data accuracy and functionality.
• Monitor and troubleshoot BI applications, identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks and data inconsistencies.
• Manage incidents and enhancement requests, ensuring timely resolution and communication with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand evolving business requirements and translate them into actionable BI solutions.
• Provide technical guidance to junior developers and team members, fostering skill development and knowledge sharing.
• Prepare and deliver comprehensive documentation, including technical specifications, user guides, and training materials.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging BI technologies, recommending and implementing improvements to existing systems.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor\'s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master\'s degree is a plus.
• Relevant certifications in BI and Power BI are highly desirable.
• Proven experience (5+ years) in designing, developing, and deploying BI solutions, with a strong focus on Power BI.
• Proficiency in data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
• Solid understanding of database technologies such as SQL Server, Oracle, or similar platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to manage end-to-end BI projects, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in data visualization best practices and a keen eye for designing intuitive and informative dashboards.
• Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, R), SQL, and cloud platforms Azure is a plus.
