We are a diverse and open-minded team harnessing our different skills and experiences.ABOUT THE ROLEAs an individual contributor within the Commercial IT \xe2\x80\x93 SSD, Data, Analytics and AI Platform Success Team the Senior Platform Success Engineer responsibilities include the following:Ensure successful adoption, operation, and optimization of data, analytics and AI platforms and productsEnsure reliability, availability, and performance of our systems and applicationsBuilding effective with Commercial IT & Business functions across Regions and MarketsContribute to the success of delivering value to Commercial IT customers by focusing on a positive user experience, troubleshooting issues, and implementing data engineering and operations best practicesWork collaboratively with development, operations, and other teams to implement best practices for system reliability and performanceExploring and implementing new ways to automate systems - Designing and testing automation processes, identifying quality issues and supporting IT platform teams to eliminate defects and errors with product and platform development.Typical AccountabilitiesPlatform Success EngineerPartner with Platform Engineering, Product Engineering, and Data & Analytics Capability leads to identify and prioritize continuous improvement & optimization initiativesContribute to IT platform and IT Product health and compliance metric definition, measurement, analyses and reporting\xe2\x80\x8bCreate and maintain comprehensive documentation for platform features, best practices and troubleshooting guidesMaintain a working knowledge of IT Service Management principles and business acumen aligned with platform and product portfolio\xe2\x80\x8bsWork closely with DevOps teams to understand platform/production updates and new features, ensuring they are scalable, reliable, and performantOperational Maturity, Improvements, and InnovationsIdentify, design, and drive continuous improvement and automation initiativesCollaborate with development teams to advocate for user and critical operations needs and contribute to and help influence platform roadmap discussionsEnsure seamless transition and communication between development and operations\xe2\x80\x8bPartners with IT stakeholders to collect and analyze user feedback, collaboratively evaluate production issues and jointly identify areas for improvement and feature enhancementsImplement and oversee monitoring solutions to ensure the health and availability and data and analytics platformsProactively identify and address potential issues before they impact operationsIdentifies metric-driven automation opportunities to drive new AIOps capabilitiesManage, evolve, and measure platform success metrics and KPIsPlatform Success Practice managementParticipates in AIOps and DevOps communities of practice\xe2\x80\x8bParticipates in IT Service Management communities of practiceEducation, Qualifications, Skills and ExperienceEssentialDegree level education in computer science or similarPrior experience in an Information Services/Information Technology Project Management with good business acumenProven experience of managing relationships with 3rd party suppliersProven experience in a technical support or success engineering role, preferably in a data and analytics environmentStrong understanding of data platforms, analytics tools and data visualization solutionsExperience with cloud-based data services (e.g. AWS)Familiarity with SQL and proficiency in scripting languages (e.g. Python) for data-related tasksDesirableCustomer engagement experienceKnowledge of data processing frameworks (e.g. Apache Spark) and data storage solutions (e.g. data lakes, warehouses)Skills and CapabilitiesEssentialAbility to interpret and communicate technical information into business languageWorking knowledge of Agile Software Development techniques and MethodologiesWorking knowledge of Continuous Integration and Deployment methods delivered as part of an agile teamProficient in all aspects of Agile and SaFE (can lead, teach, and run)DesirableGood commercial awareness and understanding of the external marketDemonstrate initiative, strong customer orientation, and cross-cultural workingExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsWHY JOIN US?We\xe2\x80\x99re a network of high-reaching self-starters who contribute to something far bigger.
