Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Placement Coordinator to our placement team to facilitate job opportunities for our candidates (Persons with Disabilities (PWDs), Women and Transgender People). The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, strategic thinking abilities, and a passion for creating inclusive employment opportunities. Key Responsibilities:
- Identify suitable job openings within inclusive and accessible companies.
- Match candidates with job opportunities based on skills and abilities.
- Maintain ongoing communication with company recruitment teams.
- Advocate for reasonable accommodations during the hiring process.
- Arrange volunteering activities, such as mock interview drives.
- Coordinate various events like Job Melas and hackathons.
- Establish connections with companies to gauge their accessibility and inclusivity.
- Follow the process of the placement team and maintain documentation.
- Work with different stakeholders - Domain experts, other organizations/foundations, Persons with Disabilities, and different age groups.
- Analyze data, create reports, refine the process flow, document Best Practices, Lessons Learned, and Improvement Areas, and recommend and implement continuous improvements
- Bachelor\'s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2 \xe2\x80\x93 4 years of experience in placement or recruitment, preferably within the non-profit sector.
- Strong understanding of disability rights, gender equality, and Transgender inclusion best practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and networking skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proven problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite, social media and other relevant software programs
