As a Senior PHP Developer / Team Lead at Notion Press, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our technology stack, including the integration of AI-driven tools to revolutionize the way writers publish and connect with their readers. Key Responsibilities: Lead and mentor a team of PHP developers, providing guidance and support in project development and problem-solving. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and designers, to deliver high-quality software solutions. Design and develop robust and scalable PHP applications using the Codeigniter framework. Contribute to the integration of AI technologies aimed at enhancing the writer\'s experience and transforming the publishing industry. Ensure code quality, maintainability, and performance through code reviews and best practices. Lead architectural discussions and make technical decisions to drive innovation and efficiency. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, including AI advancements, and incorporate them into our platform to benefit authors. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues in a timely manner. Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing and deployment. Qualifications: Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience). 5-8 years of professional experience in PHP development with a strong focus on the Codeigniter framework. Proven experience in leading and mentoring development teams. In-depth understanding of software development best practices, design patterns, and coding standards. Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related front-end technologies. Familiarity with database systems (e.g., MySQL) and experience in writing complex SQL queries. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment. Preferred Skills: Experience with PHP frameworks (e.g., Codeigniter, Laravel, Symfony) is a plus. Knowledge of modern web development technologies and tools. Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git). Experience with AI technologies, such as Natural Language Processing (NLP), machine learning, or recommendation systems, is highly desirable. Experience in working with API\'s with knowledge of REST,SOAP architecture principles. Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and deployment pipelines.
