Senior PHP Developer (Work from Office)

Office Location: Daryaganj, Delhi

Salary: Up to Rs. 7 Lakh CTC per annum

Role & Responsibilities:

• Act as the lead developer on large and more complex projects
• Develop and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable PHP code
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement new features and projects as well as he/she able to refine and understand business requirements to ensure the development is on target
• Troubleshoot, test, and debug applications to ensure optimal performance and functionality
• Contribute to the overall improvement of our product offerings through innovative ideas and problem-solving
• Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle
• Troubleshooting, testing and maintaining the core product software and databases
• Managing back-end services and ensuring a seamless inter-change of data between the server and users
• Capable of developing complex data driven systems
• Designing and maintaining Database structures
• Revising, updating, refactoring, and debugging code
• Helping develop extensive documentation throughout the life-cycle of the project
• Assessing and communicating about projected timelines for deliverables
• Development of reusable components and plugins from scratch
• Responsible for unit testing and system integration testing
• Work closely with other team members such as testers, UI designers, and product managers
• Proficiency when it comes to code versioning tools (we use the Git Version Control system)

Requirements:

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
• Proven experience as a PHP Developer with a minimum of 4 years in web application development
• Strong knowledge of PHP frameworks (e.g., Laravel, Symfony, CodeIgniter) and CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Joomla)
• Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, AJAX, OOPS, JSON, API and related frontend technologies
• Solid understanding of relational databases and experience with SQL/ MySQL queries (exposure to NoSQL database related technologies like Mongo DB, Redis, Elastic search, Cassandra etc. is a plus)
• Experience in writing effective RESTful APIs
• Ability to work independently and manage a team, with excellent communication skills
• Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for developing high-quality software
• Having experience integrating payment Gateways like Paypal, Authorize.net, Stripe etc.
• Experience in common third - party APIs (Google, Facebook, Twitter etc.)
• Ability to work with GitHub / Bitbucket version controlling system
• Knowledge of Amazon Web Services, especially S3, RDS and AWS API Tools an advantage
• Preferably have experience working in a Start-up culture
