Responsibilities:
• Develop & Manage client/donor relationship.
• Manage grants and ensure policy adherence (CSR & FCRA)
• Design and implement sustainable livelihood projects focussed on increasing the income of farmers.
• Develop Monitoring & Evaluation frameworks.
• Develop & manage relationships with government & other organizations with shared values and mission.
• Engage with local farming communities, cooperatives, and agricultural stakeholders to understand their needs, challenges, and opportunities.
• Conduct regular field visits to monitor & report field activities.
• Collect and analyze data to track progress and train staff.
• Identify successes, opportunities and areas for improvement.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Sciences, Rural Development, or related field.
• Proven experience of 10+ years in the development sector, especially focussed on livelihood projects in rural India.
• Strong understanding of sustainable agriculture practices, rural livelihoods, and agricultural value chains.
• Strong experience in writing business proposals and impact assessment reports.
• Excellent project management skills, including the ability to plan, implement, and evaluate projects effectively.
• Experience with MSME (Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises) in the agriculture field.
• Deep experience building entrepreneurship ecosystems in rural India through private public partnerships.
