Job Summary:

An experienced consulting professional who has a broad understanding of OSS Telecom industry with 7+ years of experience in that domain. Operates independently to provide quality work products to an engagement. Performs varied and complex duties and tasks that need independent judgment, in order to implement Oracle OSS products and technology, Specifically Oracle OSM (Order and Service Management) to meet customer needs. Applies Oracle methodology, company procedures, and leading practices. Demonstrates expertise to deliver functional and technical solutions on moderately complex customer engagements. Effectively consults with management of customer organizations. Participates in business development activities.

Job Responsibilities:

An experienced consulting professional who has a broad understanding of OSS Telecom industry with 7+ years of experience in that domain. Performs varied and complex duties and tasks that need independent judgment, in order to implement Oracle OSS products and technology, Specifically Oracle OSM (Order and Service Management) to meet customer needs. Applies Oracle methodology, company procedures, and leading practices. Demonstrates expertise to deliver functional and technical solutions on moderately complex customer engagements. Effectively consults with management of customer organizations. Participates in business development activities. Will work on a project in the US Eastern Time Zone from about 14:00-22:00 IST 40 hours per week

This is a 6 month project with very likely extensions

Required Skills:

• Must have Web Services and JMS experiences.
• Must have had prior Java programming experience.
• Must be proficient in XML technologies including , XPATH, XSLT, XQuery etc.
• Experience with using XML editors such as XML spy, Oxygen etc.
• Must be familiar with BEA web logic 9 or higher, should have had hands on experience.
• Must have had experience working with an IDE tool such as Eclipse, J developer etc.
• Must have basic Oracle DB skills, should be familiar with PL/SQL.
• Must have had prior experience with working in the Unix platform, Korn Shell, vi etc.

• Has had prior experience working with the OSM application.
• Experience creating an OSM cartridge using OSM admin client (or Design Studio)
• Experience creating OSM automation plugins.
• Experience with OSM view framework
• An understanding of various domains such as Wireless, Cable, DSL, VoIP, Pots, IPTV

• Strong knowledge of the Telecom OSS Space with strong Oracle Order and Service Management experience of at least 7 years.
