Job Summary


We are seeking a highly skilled Network Administrator to manage our organization's network infrastructure, WiFi network, and other related systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing WiFi networks with Meraki, conducting network security and compliance audits, experience with network monitoring and incident management, managing audio and video for conference rooms, and managing the building access management system.

What you've to do:

• Network Installation and Configuration: Configuring and installing networks, including hardware (such as routers, switches, and firewalls) and software (such as network operating systems and network management tools).
• Manage and maintain the organization's WiFi network, ensuring seamless connectivity for all end-users.
• Network Maintenance: Monitoring network performance, diagnosing and resolving network problems, and performing routine maintenance tasks such as updating software and firmware.
• Conduct network security and compliance audits to ensure that the network infrastructure is secure and compliant with industry standards.
• Experience with network monitoring and incident management, detecting and responding to network incidents, and maintaining network availability.
• Manage the audio and video systems for the organization's conference rooms, ensuring that they are always operational and meet the needs of the users.
• Manage the building access management system, ensuring that the system is secure and accessible to authorized personnel only.
• Provide support to end-users regarding network-related issues and resolve technical problems in a timely manner.
• Manage the WiFi network for 2000 end-users, ensuring that it is reliable, secure, and scalable.
• Familiarity with System MDM's and other tools that allow for remote management of devices across multiple platforms.



Work Experience

What you've done:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in network administration, with a focus on managing WiFi networks and conducting network security audits.
• Familiarity with Meraki WiFi network management and other networking technologies.
• Proven experience with network capacity planning, network security principles, and general network management best practices.
• Excellent hardware troubleshooting experience.
• Experience with network monitoring and incident management, including the ability to detect and respond to network incidents, maintain network availability, and implement disaster recovery plans.
• Experience with audio and video systems, particularly in conference room settings.
• Knowledge of building access management systems and protocols.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
• Advanced networking skills including EVPN/VXLAN, LAN/WLAN/WAN/Optical specialization.
• Must have Link Layer expertise with:
• Wired protocols including IEEE 802.3 and 802.1q
• CISCO/IOS
• Wireless protocols 802.11[b/g/n/ac/ax]
• Must have working technical knowledge of current network hardware, network protocols, and transport layer standards and protocols including:
• Ethernet, IPv4 and familiarity with IPv6
• Dynamic and static routing
• Must have expert knowledge of the following security technologies:
• firewall configuration
• Intrusion Detection/Prevention technologies
• Access Control List and port filtering
• Strong, hands-on technical knowledge of network operating systems.
