Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Senior Network Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining our organization\'s network infrastructure. The Senior Network Engineer will work closely with other departments to ensure that our network is performing at optimal levels, while also providing guidance and support to junior network engineers. - Design, implement and maintain our organization\'s network infrastructure
- Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues, and complex technical issues related to Linux systems.
- Develop and implement network security protocols and procedures
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure that our network is meeting business needs
- Create and maintain network documentation, including diagrams and configurations
- Manage and lead the NOC team, ensuring efficient operation, quick resolution of network issues, and high levels of network availability and performance.
- Oversee the development and implementation of NOC procedures, tools, and reports to improve response times and efficiency.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging network technologies and best practices
- Develop and maintain relationships with network vendors and service providers
- Bachelor\'s degree in networking, information technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a network engineer
- Relevant certifications, such as CCNP, CCIE, or JNCIE, are preferred
- Knowledge of Cisco devices is preferred
- Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios)
- Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems (e.g., Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu) and server hardware
- Experience with virtualization and containerization technologies (e.g., VMware, KVM)
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Zabbix, ELK Stack)
- Strong understanding of network protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, VLANs, VPNs, etc.
- Experience with network design and implementation, including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and wireless networks
- Knowledge of network security principles and protocols, including firewalls, VPNs, and IDS/IPS systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot network issues
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
