Project descriptionThe role is with our Murex Environment Management team which is working on a major year-on-year migration program for Tier-1 AU banks to help them hollow out clients' legacy Murex platform into their target markets settlement platform leveraging Murex 3.1. Our project offers a unique opportunity to work across a wide range of niche technologies like AWS, and DevOps alongside legacy and the latest Murex versions.Responsibilities

• Implement environment and configuration automation for Murex 3.1 on AWS Cloud.
• Manage Mx 3.1 environments/configurations across DEV and QA streams
• Environment preparation, refresh, rebuild, upkeep, maintenance, and upgrade activities.
• Troubleshooting and resolution of Murex environment-specific issues including Infrastructure related issues at the OS/DB level.
• Automation of Murex package deployments to sit/UAT environments through a combination of Ansible, Jenkins, and Unix/Perl scripts.
• Strong operational experience in supporting assets on Windows and Linux OS.
• Ability to work in shifts at times. There will be no overnight work and any early/late work will be on an exceptional basis.

• 5+ years of experience in Murex Environment Management including in-depth understanding of service setup and exposure to Git, Ansible, and bash scripting.
• Strong exposure to Murex configuration management, filesystem, and networking concepts.
• Hands-on experience in UNIX shell & Python scripting.
• Knowledge of infrastructure setup - application, DB & web servers.
• Experience working on Cloud.
• Willingness to learn and work on new technologies.

• Experience in Ansible and/or Terraform is highly regarded xe2x80xa2 DevOps fundamentals xe2x80xa2 Exposure to Murex EOD, Control-M batch setup, and scheduling
