Job Description

Company Overview: We are a fast-growing company seeking a talented Logistics Coordinator to streamline our supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, coordinating orders, tracking shipments, and ensuring efficient resource transportation from acquisition to final delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Inventory Management

Monitor stock levels to ensure optimal inventory is maintained, avoiding overstocking or stockouts.

Plan and manage delivery schedules, optimizing transport costs and minimizing delays.

Conduct regular inventory audits to track and reconcile stock discrepancies.

2. Order Coordination

Process and prioritize customer orders to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment.

Coordinate with suppliers, warehouses, and transportation partners to meet delivery deadlines.

Verify order details, including quantity, pricing, and delivery specifications, before processing.

3. Shipment Tracking

Assign carriers and routes for outgoing shipments based on cost, speed, and reliability.

Monitor and update the status of shipments, providing real-time tracking information to stakeholders.

Address and resolve any issues related to delayed or lost shipments.

4. Hazardous Waste Handling

Oversee the safe storage, documentation, and transport of hazardous materials in compliance with regulatory standards.

Maintain and update safety protocols, including proper labeling, equipment handling, and disposal procedures.

Conduct regular inspections of hazardous waste storage areas to ensure compliance with safety standards.

5. Stakeholder Communication

Act as a liaison between manufacturers, suppliers, vendors, and retailers to coordinate supply chain activities.

Maintain clear and timely communication with all stakeholders regarding order status, delivery schedules, and any changes.

Build strong relationships with key partners to enhance cooperation and streamline operations.

6. Data Analysis & Reporting

Analyze logistics-related data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.

Prepare detailed reports on inventory status, shipment performance, and cost analysis for upper management.

Use data insights to suggest process improvements and optimize supply chain efficiency.

7. Safety Standards & Compliance

Enforce all safety standards, regulations, and company policies throughout the logistics process.

Conduct safety training sessions for staff and ensure adherence to best practices.

Regularly review and update safety procedures to align with regulatory changes and industry standards.

8. Process Development

Develop and implement processes to enhance supply chain efficiency and reduce costs.

Collaborate with the logistics team to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.

Monitor the performance of new processes and make adjustments as needed to achieve desired outcomes.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?30,000.00 - ?60,000.00 per month
