The business is dedicated to advancing sustainable Agri practices and achieving long term environmental, social and economical goals within the industry.The Senior Manager-Sustainability will lead the development and implementation of sustainability strategies across our Agri business operations. This role is pivotal in driving sustainable practices and aligning business units with sustainability standards.RequirementsStrategic Leadershipxc2xb7 Develop and execute the companyxe2x80x99s sustainability strategy, aligning with corporate goals and standardsxc2xb7 Oversee the integration of sustainability initiatives across all business units and geographiesxc2xb7 Act as a key advisor to senior business management on sustainability related issues and opportunitiesxc2xb7 To drive the upcoming Net Zero Commitment of ITC at divisional level and provide support at Corporate levelProgram Managementxc2xb7 Design and implement sustainability programs and initiatives aimed at reducing environmental impact and promoting social responsibilityxc2xb7 Monitor and report on sustainability performance metrics ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standardsxc2xb7 Drive innovation in sustainable practices and technologies in Agri related operationsStakeholder Engagementxc2xb7 Foster relationships with external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, NGOs and industry groups to advance sustainability initiativesxc2xb7 Engage with internal teams to promote a culture of sustainability and ensure alignment with company objectivesReporting and Communicationxc2xb7 Prepare and present sustainability reports to senior management and external stakeholdersxc2xb7 Communicate sustainability achievements and progress to internal and external audiencesxc2xb7 Strong understanding and experience in GRI standards and ESG standardsRisk Managementxc2xb7 Identify and assess sustainability related risks and opportunities within the agribusiness operationsDevelop risk mitigation strategies and ensure robust management of environmental and social impactsBachelorxe2x80x99s degree in B.Sc.
