National Retail Head - Tyres - IIT/IIM/NIT/BITS

Role: Senior Manager - Retail

Position Title: National Retail head

Department: Marketing - Replacement

Grade/Level M3

Reporting To: Category Head

Key Purpose of the Job (Position Summary :

The role is designed to drive the expansion of special channel and improvement in throughput from this channel with an emphasis on the Car/Jeep segment. The role would include development and implementation of training modules for the internal sales team and store personnel along with working on marketing activations to increase the recall and sales from these channels.

The Role includes liasioning with different vendors for launching of new retail stores and timely completion of store launch activities. The incumbent will be responsible for developing new concepts on modern trade and trying pilots in market.

KEY ACTIVITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Enabling the sale

- Ensure achievement of sales target of exclusive stores/MBO\'s and Shop in Shop(SIS).

- Monitor & critique the retail channel and sales force to maximize sales and coverage.

- Engage with retail channel partner by resolving their problems/challenges with respect to the client and its products/activation.

- Marketing and demand generation.

- Drive digitialization of the Client Shoppes and ensure adoption with the help of sales team.

- Implement the module of store audits to ensure visibility of products, in-store branding, hygiene standards and adherence to clients norms and practices.

- Strategizing, fomalising and implementation of key marketing programs for increasing the throughput of Clien Channel.

- Monitor repeat customers to measure customer retention scores

Market Intelligence:

- Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitors activity and provide timely market intelligence reports through sales team.

- Understanding competitor\'s activity and offerings by meeting competitors\' channel partners.

Developmental:

- Keep abreast of all product and services provided by the company and competitors

- Keep abreast of new sales techniques and processes

Education and Experience Required :

- 5-8 years , preferably FMCG/ Consumer durables industry, Telecommunication, Paints, Spare Parts, Furniture & Automobile with robust retail background.
