Job Description


Vertical - NFP (Not for Profit)

Role - India Head

- Completion of timely filling of returns and reconciliation of statutory compliances such as
TDS, Provident Fund and Professional tax.

- Review ledger entries, accounts, Bank reconciliation, voucher fillings, vendors and employees accounts on periodic basis.

- Prepare and finalize Statutory books of accounts on timely basis.

- Preparation and finalization of Financial Statements including audit reports.

- Coordination with statutory auditors and Donor auditors to ensure smooth audit process and reports finalization.

- Ensuring compliances to the regular amendments under Income Tax, FCRA and Companies Act.

- Collaborate within finance team and HR departments to monitor enforcement of standards and regulations.

- Handling FCRA related compliances including 15CA & 15 CB, FC-4 returns, Quarterly FC returns and related documentation, filling and communication.

- Ensuring Compliance with the donor\'s agreements to ensure proper and timely reporting.

- Submission of different donor reports, budget amendments and Utilization certificates.

- Development of team and further ensuring healthy work environment within the team and supporting the team to reach common goals.

- Ensuring internal control system in place and obtaining Nil audit observation in the Internal audit report.

- Implementing change management to remain relevant and competitive by being responsive and proactive to emerging sector needs and development.

- Finalising donor and partner contracts, Grants negotiation, Grants Management and due diligence of the associated partners.

- To manage large projects funded by GFATM, USAID, DFID, etc.

- Handling and Leading necessary taxation matters as applicable.

Essential functions and responsibilities :

- Responsible to keep the attrition at minimum and engagement in high performing zone

- Create and maintain a winning culture in their global division and ensures a positive employee experience. Supports the WCAT and follows through with Company initiatives to drive winning culture

- Capacity building, capability building, reviews of manpower utilization & ensure that Manpower is fully & effectively utilized on daily basis.

- Closely monitor the process wise quality issues & take necessary action to improve & stabilize the process.

- Trouble shooting & Manage escalations.

- Ensure customer satisfaction. Owning CSAT.

- Team Management and Training and development of staff

- Provide guidance for an efficient and high-quality functioning team; promote synergy and best practice sharing amongst resources.

- Drive collaboration with stakeholders in managing high standards of communication and delivering best in class services.

- Provide guidance in methodologies, processes to enable enhancement of delivery.

- Productivity & quality improvements on continuous basis

- Driving a culture of Delivery Excellence and moving up the maturity to be best in class

- Develop winning culture within the team.

- Work on new prospects/ clients and need basis requirements.

Educational Qualifications: CA/CPA/ CIMA/ CWA, MBA Finance (regular from Premier institute)

Work Experience: 15-22 years

Location: Gurgaon / Mumbai (location agnostic - Mix of WFO / WFH)

Working Days: Monday to Friday

Working Hours - 9 hours (US Work Shift Pattern)
