Strong knowledge on IFRS15 and revenue accounting process. Able to ensure zero surprises, in-depth review and provide assurance over revenue numbers. Implement controls and projects as is required towards organisational objectives. Cross teams and markets engagement, understand revenue business and contracts, and ensure implementation of right accounting model in line with IFRS15.
The successful candidate will be self-Driven, Embrace Change, engage with others proactively across all levels and demonstrate Applied Thinking. The Global Process Expert will work closely with other Communities of Practices, Group Reporting, Group FP&S, IT operations and All Local Markets.Core competencies, knowledge and experienceEssential:

  • Strong communication skills (written, oral and presentation) to summarise and explain complex issues to a variety of audiences (including senior stakeholders).
  • Self-motivated to provide timely and good quality services for stakeholders\' ad-hoc requests whilst managing priorities to ensure the completion of other longer-term deliverables.
  • Business acumen and ability to identify varied business problems and suggest solutions, even out of the box
Experience:
  • Data Analytics and Reporting experience
  • Working in virtual multi-national environment
  • Proven experience with international accounting standards (IFRS) and telecommunications industry
  • Experience with new accounting standards e.g. IFRS15, IFRS16, IFRS9
  • Significant knowledge about SOX controls
Must have technical / professional qualifications:
  • Accounting/Finance University Degree with 6-8 years business experience
  • IFRS15 expertise, working experience. Understanding of IFRS16 & IFRS9 that are cross applied on various types of contract accounting requirements.
  • Accounting qualification e.g. CPA, ACCA, CA, etc
  • Preferred big 4 experience
  • In depth SAP and SAP RAR system knowledge
  • Excellent Communication and presentation skills
