The role is responsible for effectively supporting the development and execution of GSK India\xe2\x80\x99s internal and external communication strategy. This must be in sync with the strategic intent for India and forms the basis for reputation building. The Sr Manager, Corporate Communications will report to the Head \xe2\x80\x93 Communications & Government Affairs. Key responsibilities/essential functions include: Internal & External Communications at GSK India

• Lead the development and execution of GSK India\xe2\x80\x99s internal and external communications strategy and programming that drives GSK\xe2\x80\x99s strategic intent for India and contributes to building its reputation in the market.
• Lead the further development of GSK\xe2\x80\x99s relationships with the media including national press and medical journals (in collaboration with medical), and ensuring India Pharma and GSK have an appropriate media profile.
• Lead the management of the GSK India\xe2\x80\x99s communication strategy for collaborative platform \xe2\x80\x98Workplace\xe2\x80\x99 along with training and supporting colleagues with the onboarding and sustain engagement
• Lead Leadership Communication and manage internal employee engagement initiatives in partnership with HR
• Work across boundaries and support business functions with internal communication strategy and execution

Digital Media

• Support the development of unique, next-generation, cohesive online presence ( website, interactive and emerging media ) to support external communication (website, interactive and emerging media) and manages IT support & third-party vendors to reach this goal
• Develop and manage the India Country Crisis Plan and train team members.

Required experience for the role:

• Communicator with 10+ years of exceptional business partnering and stakeholder management abilities, at ease advising and delivering in role.
• A strong personal track record of building and managing excellent internal and external communications.
• A digitally savvy communicator, accountable for new age communication/digital tools for the business, independently managing projects.
