Job Description


Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

  • Responsible for leading the complete project, coordinating with all CFT meeting cost, performance and timeline.
  • Interaction with different modules of organization and tracking the part/ drawing release status and ensuring the vehicle release timeline is achieved.
  • Converting PRF to engineering requirements, Vehicle packaging analysis, coordinate with all modules and solving issues related to assembly and interactions between different modules, detailed benchmarking of reference vehicles in terms of ergonomics, dimensions, system packaging, features.
  • Facilitate and monitor design, verification, development, validation, certification and implementation activities for all changes pertaining to modifications due to design/part/process/field-requirements in mechanical, electrical & electronic features in all current products of LMM division.
  • Responsible for complete EBOM and MBOM management Cross functional team data management and control as per project gateway deliverable.
  • Responsible for implementation of ECR/ECN in vehicle revisions and making sure that full and multi-level Vehicle CAD and drawings are correct.
  • Perform vehicle builds planning, coordination, and issue resolution from proto to production releases. Exploring the ideas for cost reduction of vehicle and IQC data compiling.
  • Checking the releases documents like 3D & 2D checklists, DFA, DFM, DFMEA etc. for first time right Design.

  • Should have sound knowledge in regulatory requirements of domestic and international markets
  • Must have good knowledge / background on vehicle level mechanical, electrical and architecture with understanding including DAC, suspension, steering, interior, exterior, drivetrain (axle, transmission & electric drive unit), LV & HV battery, power electronics, DCDC, MCU, motor and charger etc.
  • Should have good product development cycle knowledge to ensure VI activities are delivered on time
  • Knowledge in change management ECR/ECN and how the revision change works in TC
  • Proficient in CATIA V5 and good exposure to CAVA to guide, mentor, enable the team to prepare packaging proposal, design concepts and DMU analysis
