Job Description


The Role Responsibilities

Strategy

To ensure a smooth, timely, accurate and error-free Monitoring and Scheduling of cash flows / advising funding figures to FO for managed accounts / Analyzing and explaining Nostro account balances / Justifying and accounting Nostro OD charges and related activities in the Unit.

  • Continuous improvement in productivity to the standards prescribed for the processes from time to time.
  • Upholding the Values of the Group and Company always.
Risk Management
  • No Failed Audits, resolution of agreed findings must be completed no later than the original target date without deferral / extension.
Governance
  • Compliance with all applicable Rules / Regulations and Company and Group Policies.
  • Comply with Group Money Laundering Prevention Policy and Procedures to the extent applicable and report all suspicious transactions to the Unit Manager.
  • Ensure compliance with GOR procedures with emphasis on adherence to KCS, execution of KCSA and submission of KRI\xe2\x80\x99s.
  • All authorities and responsibilities listed herein should be carried out strictly in compliance with GPCW Delegation of Authority as updated from time to time.
  • Always adhere to GCOC.

  • Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank.   • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
  • Exercise authorities delegated by the Board of Directors and act in accordance with Articles of Association.
Our Ideal Candidate
  • Experience of working in multi-faceted projects with direct exposure to multiple stakeholders (eg across Project teams, Design, Engineering, Testing, etc).
  • Good knowledge of payments and related SWIFT messages across the lifecycle (instruction, intraday confirmation and EOD statement related).
  • Project management - including the development, implementation and ongoing management of project plans / timelines, RAID logs, etc.
  • Added advantage if has experience in Nostro Management, including nostro forecasting and intraday liquidity management.
  • Experience in overseeing UATs and parallel runs, related status updates on daily stand ups and stakeholder meetings.
  • Some knowledge of nostro reconciliations, as well as settlement and confirmation related processes is beneficial.
  • Some experience / knowledge of Treasury\xe2\x80\x99s role and related execution / products is beneficial.
  • Ability to generate clear / concise business requirements and associated documentation.
  • In depth process knowledge on Securities funding, confirmation and settlements.
  • Ability to generate clear / concise test cases and related test plans.
  • Able to manage people / delegate project related work effectively.
  • Knowledge on various Custodian accounts handling.
  • Able to self-organise and prioritise workload.
  • Hands on experience on Repo / Bond processes.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
