The S&D Grocery vertical at Ninjacart is focused on building the business of Kirana E-commerce where we source from a plethora of brands and deliver to retailers ensuring meeting the right value proposition like On time deliveries, competitive market prices and a wide and relevant assortment. While this value proposition is solid and proven in terms of being customer-centric, the ability to create solutions that are implementable, viable and feasible towards a profitable ecosystem is a brilliant and alluring challenge. We identify the right to win in each category, marrying the nuances of the categories to the needs of the customer. Structurally, this is a 0 to 1 team, with focus on quick experimentation and playbook building on fulfilling the customer needs with respect to Grocery along with a strong ethos of profitability.Responsibilities:
Own the Customer Metrics - Customer Segmentation, Cohort wise approach, Customer returns, Customer Penetration, Customer Growth, Customer Retention, Customer complaints, Customer Margins
Develop and Manage relevance to customer shopping experience using Categories and their SKU assortments as per Regional/City level requirements
Analyze data or insights to determine industry and customer trends
Devise long-term development strategies for customer Life cycle management - From onboarding to retention to loyalty
Develop exit strategies for customers who are displaying notoriety
Work closely with Category, sales and Operations teams to improve quality of customer experience
Liaise with marketing teams to determine competitive pricing and promotional activities of a product category
Own the Discounts section of the PnL and build discount budget utilization models for improving conversions per unit spend
Own the customer app related product builds. Will work closely with Category and product teams to evolve the customer app experience
Own and develop all the constructs (in-app and off-app) with respect to customer growth, development and retention
Planning and Executing Campaigns, Offers and customer engagement events to drive overall business objectives

Relevant Work Experience of at least 2-4 Years as a Trade Marketing Manager/Retail Marketing Manager/FMCG ASM with demonstrated acumen in a specific category based sales/ distribution (results)
Sound Understanding of the customer segment, their behavior, products in the category, Category Pricing, B2B Sales, Vendor Management
Drive and proactiveness to dive into numbers to identify, analyze and solve business problems
