Occasional travel to a physical office may be required to enhance working relationships, collaboration, design, strategy and alignment.The individual will be responsible for the Global Shared Services P2P team in the Finance group Will provide ongoing leadership for the P2P Process and be responsible for the direct oversight of global AP processing and travel expense reporting. This position will be responsible for the oversight of teams on varying shifts as this team will support multiple time-zonesThis position requires excellent communication skills given this individual will be interacting with our local controllers and handling global inquiries on a daily/weekly basis. This position will also be responsible for ongoing global communications/ training regarding process changes and policy expectations.Note: The role would require the person to work from our Mumbai Office at least 2 days a week.Office Location: Goregaon, MumbaiRole and key deliverables:

  • Responsible for managing and monitoring Purchase to Pay (P2P) processes performed by Mumbai-based Shared Services P2P team, includes managing:
Supplier setup and validation processInvoice processingWeekly payment reviews/approvalsIntegration of acquired companiesTravel software administration and processingReconciliation activitiesAudit, supplier and internal inquires
  • Ensure service level agreements (SLA's) standards are met or exceeded. Monitor the timeliness and the quality of SSC P2P teams output and ensure standard end-to-end business processes and control framework are followed.
  • Contribute to creating an environment of innovation, continuous & proactive improvement to drive ongoing process efficiency.
  • Assess existing processes to look for opportunities for re-engineering, robotics, automation and/or invoice digitalization.
  • Ensure strong co-operation with global P2P teams across QAD.
  • Lead high-performing teams based on the QAD Values. Build strong working relationships with SSC team members and global finance functions.
  • Mentor and guide the team members towards their career development goals.
  • Monitor and communicate performance expectations and provide continuous feedback, coaching and career development.
  • Ensure P2P related policies and procedures are maintained and kept up to date. This will be demonstrated by managing monthly meetings with key stakeholders to review policy issues identified during the month, determining the need for policy refinements and ensuring changes are properly communicated to key stakeholders as well as ensuring company wide communication when required.
  • Responsible for hiring & training,, implementation of standard business processes for identified processes in-scope, ensuring that global processes maximize efficiency and are effective.
  • Establish clear functional responsibilities alignment and proper backup within the SSC P2P team to ensure transparency and continuity of service.

QualificationsProfessional degree: Bachelor's degree in Accounting/FinanceOther Program / Supplemental Training: Exposure to or understanding of ITIL processes (or equivalent) is a BIG PLUSExperience: Minimum of 12 years of relevant experience, including 5 years of experience in global shared service center managerial role; change management experience would be an advantage.Computer skills:Knowledge in the financial system and reporting tools (experience in QAD ERP a plus).Expert in Google Sheet and other Google Suite, MS Excel.Knowledge of ERP systems, Blackline, and other reporting tools preferred.Other knowledge / skills:Confidence and consistent track record to successfully communicate (oral & written) within & outside the functionAbility to work independently and take ownership of multiple concurrent and diversified tasks while working with deadlines.Highly organized with phenomenal attention to detail.Aptitude to work closely with a cross functional team and interact effectively with various stakeholders in senior management roles.Ability to coach & mentor team members to drive resultsAdditional Information
