Overview: The Senior Manager - Talent Acquisition operations will be responsible for the driving execution of overall TA operating strategy and plans in deep collaboration with TA leads & team, global TA COEs, Other hub TA teams, hiring managers and broader HR team. In order to do this, you must be obsessive about great candidate experience, and commit to being creative along with us, to help build the most interesting and effective recruiting operations at HBS. Additionally would be managing the TA operations team managing offers to onboarding of candidates for HBS site. Responsibilities:
Operational/ Process Excellence: Critically review TA processes and policies at site and drive project teams to review, build and implement across HBS. Work with Site leadership and broader HR teams to create buy in. Assess and drive team productivity with focus on efficiency and automation where ever required.
Cross Functional Influence and Change Management: Be able to engage TA Team on strategic initiatives and develop self-sustainable processes in partnership with TA Operations, Payroll ops team etc to implement processes, resources and tools. Also be the implementation and roll out owner for any global TA initiatives/ Programs @HBS.
Budget Oversight: Work with HBS TA lead and Site finance team to manage TA budget effectively with monthly / quarterly spend tracking and reconciliations.
Data Analytics & Reporting: Develop, standardize and manage business / Operational dashboards to track progress, measure success, and report on learnings and key outcomes from recruiting program initiatives and TA Operations at site.
Functional Consulting/ Expertise: Build /use external network to be well-informed of industry talent trends and best practices. Ability to adjust strategies based on known factors and advise TA team on best tactics to resolve immediate talent gaps and execute better.
Knowledge & SOP Management: Creation of SOPs and building processes to keep them updated all the time and centrally storing them for everyones easy access.
TA Resource & Workload Management: Build robust plans for onboarding, transitioning and Off-boarding of TA team members (FTEs, RPO, Contractors & Apprentices). Drive hiring of TA team members effectively.
Tools & Partner Management: Building performance empanelment and evaluation mechanism for tools(Job boards, Social media, assessment etc) and partners (RPO, Recruitment consultants & BGV Vendor). Continuously monitoring of tools effectiveness, managing logins & access, payment and renewals.
TA Process/ Control Audit: Build TA process, documentation & control audit mechanism and run internal audits to ensure compliances.
TA Operations Management: Smooth functioning of end to end TA operations from offers generation to Background checks to post offer follow up, candidate query management to Onboarding.
Qualifications:
10+ yrs experience of working in an in-house corporate Talent Acquisition function and managing mid-large TA operations
5+ years managing organizational projects and programs with proven record of executing operational excellence projects.
Excellent analytical, organizational and project management skills; strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills also a must
Ability to juggle many deliverables, manage short deadlines while delivering long-term impact and support a wide range of priorities. Ability to balance competing priorities in a fast-paced environment, and push back on leaders when necessary
Hands on working experience on global ATS systems like Taleo, ICIMS, Brassring etc along with CRM tools like Vantive, Avature etc + Reporting tools like Tableau, Power BI would be desirable.
Understanding of TA metrics, and how to utilize external data insights to drive TA strategies
Proven ability to work with senior / global stakeholders would be a great asset.
