SUMMARY OF THE OVERALL JOB
To work within the pharmaceutical business and will be involved in projects with all the functions - Markets including Russia, CIS, India, USA; Finance; Business Development; Supply Chain; Manufacturing Operations, R&D, any other if required
Responsible for timely communication to all customers, driving the Supply Chain S&OP, reviewing and ensuring the replenishment planning for Make to Stock and timely supplies to Make to Order customers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
STRATEGIC:
- Tracking the achievement of initiatives stated in Balance Score Cards, Departmental Goals and ensuring execution on time
- Ease the burden of the CEO for the departments assigned from operational perspective while simultaneously providing decision making information for the company/department strategic direction
- Ensure timely, data-backed quantitative and qualitative analysis along with recommendations for the President to support him in decision making (for balanced scorecards, department goals, translating and summarizing recommendations by external consultants, merger and acquisitions opportunity analysis if required, etc)
- Organize and coordinate for senior management team meetings, strategy meets and off- sites.
- Pro-actively take up and drive Strategic and Special Projects from time to time
- Identify critical long-term supply constraints and work with operations for improvement measures.
- On time communication to Customer on status and projections for supplies against commitments.
- Ensure highest levels of customer satisfaction through identification of problems, obstacles and opportunities and proactively work to address the issues.
- Responsible for the planning, implementation, and direction of all customer service support activities relating to the commercial interface with internal and external customers.
- Manage Communication with customer with effective regular updates (direct communication with BD/Customer and coordination with planners for other markets).
- Develop and maintain effective and accurate reply to customer inquiries related to fulfilling customer orders/requirements.
OPERATIONAL:
- Designing and implementation of suitable dashboards for all departments/units
- Reviewing business/department performance on periodic basis, highlighting areas of concern and presenting recommendations to the President
- Ensuring that sales performance reviews are conducted on a regular basis where a pre- brief and analysis is shared with the President every time
- Ensure timely, data-backed dashboards with quantitative and qualitative analysis along with recommendations for the President to support him in decision making (for business cases, budgets, sales performance reviews, etc)
- Run the S&OP for all markets and work with demand planner for final 12 months plan on monthly basis with immediate month frozen and next three months tentative.
- Work with Production Planner on the spare capacity to business units for new orders for 100% utilization.
- Work with the team for refining of the monthly MIS.
- Ensure that after running all the S&OP meetings, the final Production plan is advised back to Manufacturing team and agreement for the same is taken from them.
- Responsible for all the inter department and intra department SLA\'s.
- Plan for US Launch as regards logistics, warehousing and distribution.
- Implement cost improvement measures in the SC department.
- Lead the team for timely new Product Launch.
SPECIAL PROJECTS:
- To work on special projects as assigned Collect all background information and prepare answers for all possible questions before putting up proposals for President\'s approval
- Ensure closure on projects by taking an end-to-end accountability and ownership
- Monitor and follow up all action items emerging from the various discussions of the President and VP Operations during the internal/external meetings with various divisions/stakeholders
- Balance multiple priorities while ensuring timelines are adhered to
- Acts as a bridge for smooth communication between the President\'s office and internal departments; demonstrating leadership to maintain credibility, trust and support with senior management
- Prepare power-point presentations /other MS-office documents for internal communications, customer meetings and board meetings if required.
