Job Description

The purpose of this role is to lead a team of resource managers who manage supply and demand across a Service Line or within a certain discipline. They have accountability for executing strategies to meet resourcing needs for our client and functional teams. They will partner and collaborate with growth, HR, finance, operations and talent acquisition to staff teams timely and ensure excellence in client delivery.Job Title: Senior Manager - Resource Management: Key responsibilities: Understands and communicates the impacts (financial, client relationship, skill) of applying one resource over another or removing a resource from work Leads resource meetings to understand impacts to resource needs (new projects, timeline movement, etc.) and facilitates risk/issue mitigations Management responsibility for 1-3 Resource Managers, Specialists and/or Resource Coordinators Proactively reviews opportunity pipeline to create and understand the picture of upcoming demand Engages and provide hands on support, troubleshoot and guidance to teams across Operations, Offshore and service line teams in terms of resource delivery and placement from all fulfilment channels Establishes reporting and monitoring requirements; Proactively reviews staffing data and develops and communicates meaningful insights on trends, forecasts, opportunities for improvement and areas of concern; provides suggestions for improvement Identifies need for freelance and external talent and work with Talent Acquisition to provide input and handle escalations Liaises between Account, service line leadership, recruiting, HRBP, Operations for applicable supply and demand Managing key stakeholder relationships and acting as a trusted advisor on resourcing/deployment matters, sharing best practice and advice on people deployment challenges and proactively working to re-balance professionals who are above / below utilisation targets Resolves staffing conflicts to the satisfaction of all parties, which may include identifying creative staffing alternatives and negotiating with projects and resourcesLocation: ChennaiBrand: ParagonTime Type: Full timeContract Type: Permanent
