Job Title Key Responsibilities Set the regional R&D strategy for region which supports the Freudenberg Home Cleaning Solutions (FHCS) and Regional business strategies He/she is responsible for the on time and on spec delivery of the NPD (New Product Development) project portfolio which is defined in the Masterplan. This includes IP (Innovation Pipeline) portfolio management. Plan, co-ordinate and execute all specific technical tasks in concept ideation, CAD modelling, prototyping, production design detailing, tooling preparation, pre-production design validation and start-up of production. Responsible for research-related topics like technology scouting, evaluation of new materials and production technologies and establishes / supports contacts to new/existing suppliers and research partners. He/She leads a team of highly skilled engineers/ technicians/ scientists as project managers and R&D Lab Technicians. Personal leadership and the development of direct reports, and organisation are essential to secure the best R&D support for meeting FHP\'s strategic objectives. The Regional R&D Head controls the R&D budget of the category. Professional Experience and Education +10 years of experience in R&D, Innovation Management (for consumer products preferred) Master degree in technical field (mechanical engineering, industrial design) Fluent English As a R&D team leader, he / she should have strong project management sense (timing, Cost, Quality and technical risks) also have a deep understanding of new product development process.
