Sr Manager- Production Technology (New Product Development)- FMCG industry

We have an urgent mandate for a Sr Manager- Production Technology (New Product Development) position with the topmost FMCG MNC in India. The position is to be based in Kolkata or Bangalore.

ROLE PROFILE:

:

- Responsible for New Product Development, including overall responsibility for manufacturing operations, and devising go-to-market strategy for new products.

- Vendor exploration and partnerships.

- Competition study and evaluation of competition products.

- Finalization of the Product brief

- Identification of key capabilities for future product pipeline

- People management & development

- Management of new and identified local and overseas partners, domain experts and internal team for product development, capability projects etc.

- Tracking global and Indian, market and regulatory developments for sighting potential business opportunities

Knowledge Required:

- Design Principles

- Problem Solving

- Project Management

- Product Development

Qualifying Education:

- B.E. / B. Tech (Mechanical / Electrical / Chemical / Production / Industrial / Manufacturing)

- Premier engineering institute preferred

Experience Required:

- Post-qualification work experience of 6 to 10 years

- Preferred experience in new product development

- Preferred sector(s): Manufacturing, FMCG, Pharma
