We are already providing Solar EPC services for large solar PV projects developed by private players and roof-top PV solutions for Industrial and Commercial consumers. Further, we are empaneled with the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) under their Solar On-grid programme contributing to the National roof-top mission. We have grown to be among the few companies with the capabilities to execute large scale projects of over 100 MW, with significant experience in Single Axis Tracker implementation. Our services under the vertical include: Design & Engineering, Project Execution, Project Management, Bid Management, Project Feasibility Analysis across large-scale Solar Photovoltaic Power Plants for both land-mounted as well as roof-top Solar PV projects.Job Summary:Responsible for overall project scheduling, planning, and Control of respective projects of the region.Roles and Responsibilities:Project Planning

  • Review and approve Micro and Macro Plans prepared by Planning Engineers.
  • Review the Resource plan prepared by Planning engineers. Ensure Resource plans are aligned with Macro/Micro plans and productivity norms.
  • Ensure Monthly/Weekly Catch-up Plans are prepared at the site.
  • Implement Standard Planning processes and templates within the region.
  • Physical inputs on quantities with regional commercial for preparation of annual budget.
  • Prepare LE Revenue of the Region for RM\'s Approval
  • Review the Closure Plans prepared by the Planning Engineers.
  • Organizing RM and PM Level meetings for Progress.
  • Interface with other contractors at the same project.
Project Control
  • Monitor and track Sub-contractor deployment at sites.
  • Monitor Executed Revenue is done as per the plan.
  • Monitor the Resources/Assets deployed at site.
  • Ensure all Internal/External MIS Reports are published within schedule.
  • Monitor and Track Engineering/Design Drawings and ensure the same is available as per the plan.
  • Monitor and track the PRs raised and ensure that the materials are being delivered at site as per the Erection plan.
Start-Up and Closure
  • Drive all start up activities between L1 to project handover to PM and team.
Contract Management
  • Ensure that KEC\'s interests are always safeguarded against the customer and subcontractor.
  • Claims against customer are raised timely and advice taken from Internal Contracts and Legal. When in doubt, ask Contracts.
  • Claims on Subcontractor are enforced timely and properly with a view to prevent disputes and safeguard KEC interests.
  • contractual letters are submitted to client timely. Important Contractual Correspondences those relating to Extension of time, Claims, Offloading, Termination, Notice to Corrects etc would necessarily to be vetted from Contracts/HO
  • Ensure all letters from client are replied to client appropriately and timely.
  • Monthly progress reports to be present to customer and internal stakeholders.
  • Project Diary to be maintained.
Others
  • Engineering Coordination review and team regularly.
  • Monthly/ Bimonthly follow and meeting with Procurement on Supply items including Steel and Cements requirement for the project.
  • Sub-contractor productivity monitoring and improving.
  • Review Manpower and HR Inputs.
  • Monitory Tool and Machinery required for the project
  • Implementation of Excaliber Processes and Mechanisation Initiatives within the Region
  • Identify opportunities to improve productivity and to ensure timely completion of the project.
  • Mentor Planning Engineers and Review performance
  • Regular Site Visits to ensure plans are designed as per the site situation.
