A Senior Manager who will play a pivotal role in bringing the Intuitive No-Low Code ecosystem from an Idea to Life.

In this team, we dream big. Our goal is to accelerate digital transformation and unlock innovation in ServiceNow by giving our business the latest available technology. We are exploring how using our Services, Tools, and Processes can enable anyone to build apps on the ServiceNow platform to transform their work life.

We are a team of a Product Managers, Product evangelists, UX designers, Front end developers, and Full Stack Engineers. We are a user-centric team, and all of our activities are focused on making products and tools that will enable Citizen Developers, with no prior coding experience, to build the automation they need easily and quickly. We operate as an incubation team to try new ideas, build fast, test fast, learn from them and then iterate. We are never done and never complete.

Qualifications

The Role

The role of the Senior Manager, Now on Now products is to drive the incubation, development and adoption of products and tools that are built on Now Platform and enable Citizen Developers, with no prior coding experience, to build the automation they need easily and quickly

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have an established background in developing mission-critical software solutions by influencing and serving internal customer at all levels, a strong technical ability, excellent project management and communication skills, and a motivation to achieve results in a fast-paced environment.

  • Be technically hands on and guide the team leading from the front
  • Work closely with the technical product managers to understand detailed requirements and deliver high quality products to our users
  • Collaborate closely with other development teams (and managers) across Business Units to help with continuous improvement of the architecture, tools and processes.
  • Develop on the best cloud software for businesses using ServiceNow platform.
  • Ability to drive roadmap, work across organizational boundaries, and exercise appropriate influence to ensure commitment to customers and product quality.
  • Responsible for the overall systems development life cycle.
  • Management and execution against project plans and delivery commitments.
  • Manage the day-to-day activities of the engineering team within an Agile/Scrum environment.
Required Qualifications
  • B.S or M.S in Computer Science or equivalent
  • 12+ years experience managing or leading software development teams delivering high quality enterprise ready software
  • 3+ years in managing and leading teams on large and complex projects
  • Experience in HTML technologies including Java, Javascript, HTML, CSS, & Angular JS.
  • Servicenow Development experience is a huge plus
  • Understanding of application development on a cloud platform
  • Solid understanding of software development, debugging, testing, and problem solving
  • Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • A strong track record of project delivery for large, cross-functional, projects
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences

  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills - verbal, written, listening and presentation.
  • Ability to work well in a large blended team as well as individually.
