The capabilities hosted include Data Analysis, Product specialists with understanding of underlying Data for Liquidity/ Regulatory Reporting, Reconciliations, Management Reporting & Analysis, Research & Analytics, Financial Transaction Processing and Finance Systems SupportData Management team enables the Finance Organization and supports data needs of finance business users.The Data Management team is involved in various activities (including, but not limited to):Regulatory Reporting related data management Activities: Team support activities related to US and EMEA Regulatory reports, data validation and resolution of Data quality issues. Team performs a critical role in providing centralized support for Global Banking and Market products (Treasury, Traded, Loans & Deposits etc.) data validation and analysis for internal and external Liquidity reporting. Team is engaged in activities such as validation of data for regulatory reports, data quality issue resolution, data reconciliation with authoritative sources and posting adjustments. Team actively works on strategic initiatives aimed at improving the quality of numbers reported in regulatory reports. Data Sourcing and provisioning: This includes defining and implementing data provisioning strategy to source the data from all lines of business into regulatory reports and management reports. Team is actively involved in sourcing initiatives where it works with various source systems, technology teams and report owners to source the data into regulatory reports as per regulator and stakeholder requirements.*This role is for a Business and Product Data Analysis and Change Management resource responsible for contributing member of the Data Management team with engagement in activities like production data validation, data governance, master data management, metadata management, restatements, data sourcing/research, issue resolution and projects like ADS.This requires strong database knowledge for Traded and treasury Products. Understanding of upstream data flow, extensive data analysis using SQL or any other tool to identify data gaps in systemic trade flows, potential regulatory impacts etc.This requires strong database knowledge and ability to write complex SQL queries to fetch data, modify data extraction logic schema to align with new data scoping on account of regulatory changes. Individual will be responsible to directly engage and independently operate under various regulatory reporting transformation program which includes Projects pertaining to Market Risk, FRTB, risk analysis covering VAR, Regulatory Capital etc. under Global Banking and Global Market segment.Responsibilities*Individual will be required to perform following responsibilities (this is an indicative list and could vary depending on business priorities)

  • Work directly with partners in Global Regulatory Reporting, Global Liquidity Management, Enterprise Capital Reporting, etc., to understand their needs and the related market products data implications
  • Continually grow and expand market products and use-case knowledge, with a focus to understand the \xe2\x80\x98why\xe2\x80\x99, to anticipate and proactively address questions and issues before they occur
  • Leverage SQL, Excel, and other analytics tools to identify and understand data issues, quantify impacts, or provide answers to time-sensitive business, audit, and regulator questions
  • Ability to debug SQL/oracle procedures to fix them and also able to write them from scratch as per project requirement
  • Engage with upstream data providers and Treasury technology teams to develop and test innovative solutions to address those needs as part of Agile Change Management processes
  • Constantly evaluate our processes to ensure data risks are identified and properly mitigated, while seeking opportunities to simplify, automate, and improve wherever/whenever possible
  • Data validation & reconciliation: production support, monthly trend analysis or ad hoc analysis
  • Data sourcing, mapping and analysis, reporting
  • Lead Projects (eg. Authoritative Data Sources adoption): laying test cases & writing test scripts, testing data- analyze results of testing \xe2\x80\x93identify defects and solution for items out of tolerance.
  • Coordinate with business partners, project management team, technology as per requirement in the project
  • Documentation \xe2\x80\x93 Provide Inputs on the Project documents etc.
  • Continually identify process improvement opportunities
Liaison and Change
  • Build relationships across CFO DM teams including stakeholders e. g. Technology, Treasury, Liquidity to understand and resolve accounting and reporting issues.
  • Support change agenda across group and ensure processes are efficient, consistent, and sustainable, making best use of technology.
  • Supporting DM and enterprise Operational Excellence initiatives
  • Exposure to Emerging technologies like Alteryx, Tableau, UiPath, etc.
Requirements*Education*Excellent Finance background (Commerce graduate/Finance Postgraduates)Certifications If Any NAExperience Range*8 to 12 yearsFoundational skills*
  • Product Knowledge specifically data analysis exposure in Traded product (Derivatives, bonds, Equities, Collateral, Prime Brokerage etc.) environment,
  • Hands-on experience in writing complex SQL logic to analyze large data sets to identify the data gaps in upstream data flows and potential regulatory impacts,
  • Additionally, Alteryx, Regulatory reports knowledge will be beneficial from role orientation standpoint
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary as the position requires global correspondence and communication with associates throughout the Bank of America footprint
  • Proficient in the use of SQL, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and MS Access
