Company: MercerDescription:Canada Health Delivery Team is seeking candidates for the following position based in the DLF/Noida office:Business Title: Sr. Manager xe2x80x93 Consultant Health & BenefitsWhat can you expect?Mercer is highly skilled Sr. Manager to join our team servicing US/Canada regions. This role involves servicing both open-market clients and those in the Benefits Facility by Mercer Marsh Benefits placement facility for small to medium-sized employers. This position is part of a team that provides comprehensive group benefits and human resources solutions.In this role, you will be required to:Ensure the timely and accurate production and processing of relevant documents and information, including report preparation. Contribute to the achievement of Service Level Agreements (SLAs), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and business objectives. Adhere to Company policies and performance standards. Update reports based on predefined templates on a regular basis to ensure accurate entry. Maintain a basic understanding of the core aspects of relevant Insurance and related legislation.What is in it for you?

We will count on you to:
  • Project manage a portfolio of comparatively complex and/or big clients
  • Ensure seamless and superior Client Service delivery on the work aligned to their team on key SLAs viz. Accuracy / Efficiency / Utilization etc.
  • Validate and compare premiums for group benefit plans under vendor renewals, plan design change and quotes, or benchmarking exercises
  • Populate financial and renewal tool data bases
  • Produce experience monitoring reports for clients and analyze the impact of any recent changes
  • Prepare cost projections for plan options
  • Analyze financial statements of group insurance plans and review financial agreements to suit client needs
  • Gathering, summarizing and preparing all informarion and client data for marketing/vendor searches
  • Analyze cost drivers by reviewing clientxe2x80x99s cost/utilization data and looking for year-over-year trends or comparisons to external benchmarks using data provided from clients vendor reports or raw data from external databases
  • Assist with new insurer implementation processes to review employee census, rate and premiums charts, plan design and mapping documents, new issue contract materials
  • Complete reporting for globally managed clients (GBM Data Analytics Too)
  • Peer review other teammatesxe2x80x99 work to ensure accuracy and reasonableness
  • Assist with day-to-day inquiries from the client
  • Completion of placement forms to apply client commissions revenue and assist with professional services summary
  • Plan document review following plan design changes or insurance carrier updates
  • Other special projects as outline by the client and/or consultants
  • Assist with new teammate training as required
  • Project teamxe2x80x99s utilization through the year and actively pursue new work opportunities when necessary
  • Act as point of escalation from Mercer India for any support required for production issues which occurs during onshore business hours

  • Ownership of delivery on assigned work through self-planning and monitoring of all activities

  • Graduate from a reputable institute in Mathematics/Accounting/Finance/Economics
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience with relevant experience in employee benefits for a minimum of 3-5 years
  • Ability to manage/ mentor first-line managers along with setting-up and maintaining resilient operational & administrative governance for rest of the team.
  • Strong Project Management skills xe2x80x93 ability to manage stakeholder expectations, proven track record of managing critical constraints like Scope, Schedule & Quality and apt in critical resourcing methodologies in a demanding project environment.
  • Experience of working in onshore/ offshore model
  • Thorough understanding of peer review process / QC
  • Ability to work well within a team environment
  • Ability to do multitasking/ manage multiple critical projects at a given point of time with conflicting priorities and being capable of ensuring optimum resourcing either by fast tracking or crashing techniques.
  • Proficient in project/ task prioritizing techniques
  • Strong Risk management ability with relevant mitigation plan identified and implemented across business.
  • Expertise in developing solutions in setting-up new processes at offshore, improving existing operational opportunities with best use of lean methodology and offering sustainable utilities/ framework with desktop automations using advanced Excel models, Excel & MS Access Macros (VBA)
  • Preferred knowledge of data analytics tools and processes, using R Studio/ Python
  • Sound knowledge of using MIS and setting-up governance around the same, facilitates management reporting
  • Should be able to take lead in new opportunity identification (offshoring feasibilities), successful deep dives, process mapping (as-is & adapted), adhere to transition governance and execute/ drive migration plan for new project/ process work.
  • Ability to manage delivery of projects with 100% SLA adherence and utmost attention to defined CTQ parameters.
  • Ability to identify KRAs for team, define SMART goals to achieve team, organizational and business level objectives.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills as exemplified by clear issue explanations, documentation and effective intra- and inter-group communications
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, including ability to multitask and work independently with minimum supervision to meet firm deadlines
