: PURPOSE OF THE ROLE The role is required to develop strategy and implement processes to drive sustained USL manufacturing business performance improvement programs and initiatives, aligned with the Diageo Global Manufacturing Excellence Standards and key measures Qualification: . Mechanical or Industrial Engineering degree, MS or MBA preferred Experience: . 15+ years ofConsumer Goods manufacturing production improvement experience Knowledge & skills: . Thorough knowledge of Manufacturing Excellence principles . Strong focus on Process Improvement, Waste Reduction, Efficiency Optimization . Root Cause analysis andProblem Solving skills . Hands-on applicable experience with demonstrated team leadership . Demonstrated ability to implement and sustain culture change Best suited for someone who has:. . Strong orientation for long-term business performance improvements . Excellent communication skills . Track record of sound stake holder management and outstanding employee development 1 Performance governance . Ensure adherence to Global Supply ManEx processes and leverage best practice standards to improve performance at USL . Standardize process improvement approach across units to achieve consistent and sustainable results across the business . Sustain improvement of Global Supply . Make KPIs against unit level performance targets to eliminate waste and optimize efficiencies, via monthly Make target performance . Demonstrate rigor in implementation of Global ManEx processes and standards, via annual alignment review 2 People Management . Demonstrate Managerial leadership to develop team against role capabilities . Collaborate with Global Manex team for the calibration of India market practices against the standards and deployment of best practices from other markets . Drive Diageo Leadership standards and individual development plan targets, via P4G program 3 Continuous Improvement . Guide auditable improvement in employee technical capabilities, understanding of required processes and culture shift with sustained results, via annual unit audits . Drive implementation of improvement programs and culture change to consistently achieve USL Supply . Develop and implement a Performance improvement ManEx strategy supporting the USL stretch objectives to deliver the overall Manufacturing strategy, via annual strat plan process .
