Senior Manager - Legal

About the Role :
As you would be representing the Company as the Company\'s Legal Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity of our contracts, protecting our legal interests, and supporting our business operations in so far as it relates to having legal processes in place. You will be responsible for vetting, perusing, negotiating specific clauses in contracts, managing contract lifecycles, and providing legal support across various areas of our business.

Tasks Include :

1. Review and analyse contracts to identify potential legal risks, inconsistencies, and areas of improvement.

2. Negotiate and revise contract terms and conditions, including specific clauses related to indemnity and limitation of liability and liaison with the client, if necessary to close the contract.

3. Collaborate with internal teams in the company, such as business development and operations to ensure contract terms align with business objectives and legal requirements.

4. Collaborate with the Company\'s Contract Team to manage the contract lifecycle which includes tracking contract expiration dates, renewal notices, monitor and follow up on closed, pending, and expired contracts to ensure compliance with contractual obligations

5. Prepare and draft, demand notices, arbitration notices, and other legal correspondence as required.

6. Assist in the preparation of legal documents, including court pleadings, briefs, and other legal submissions.

What We Are Looking for :

- Bachelor\'s/ Master\'s degree in Law or equivalent degree and certificate to practice by the Bar Association

- A strong background in contract law, proficient negotiation skills and good drafting skills with 7 to 8 Years of Experience.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills to identify potential legal risks and inconsistencies.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously, while meeting deadlines.
