The Senior Manager, ITSM Change Management will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Change Management function, ensuring effective management of all related activities, and maintaining high standards of service delivery.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT Service Management (ITSM), with expertise in change management processes and an understanding of DevOps and Agile methodologies.Key Responsibilities:1. Operational Management:

  • Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Change Management team to ensure efficient processing of change requests.
  • Responsible for generating monthly reports / ad hoc reports and present insights for leadership reviews.
  • Develop data driven improvement programs to achieve operational efficiency.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for escalations related to change management issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to find effective solutions, ensuring that issues resolved promptly and efficiently.
2. Audit and Compliance:
  • Manage audit findings related to the Change Management function, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Ensure the change management process adheres to all regulatory and compliance requirements, including those related to financial regulations.
  • Develop and maintain documentation to support audit and compliance activities.
3. Team Leadership:
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the Change Management team, encouraging a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
  • Set performance goals, conduct regular performance reviews, and provide ongoing coaching and development opportunities for team members.
4. Continuous Improvement
  • Drive continuous improvement, using metrics and feedback to identify areas for improvement.
  • Identify underlying causes of reoccuring issues and implement proactive strategies to prevent future occurrence, building a culture of continuous learning and improvement
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices ITSM, and DevOps, and apply this knowledge to improve the function.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in information technology
  • 12+ years of experience in IT Service Management, with at least 5 years in a change management role.
  • Proven experience in managing audit findings
  • Strong understanding of regulatory compliance, particularly in financial services.
  • Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies, and their impact on change management.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong ability to collect, analyse and interprets data to reach conclusions and /or present insights and findings
Preferred Certifications
  • ITIL 4 Foundation Certificate (minimum)
  • DevOps Foundation or equivalent.
