: The incumbent is expected to lead a team of IT professions to develop & automate some of the trading applications, reporting tools, data analytics and other financial processes that are being currently used for asset allocation and portfolio management. The successful candidate should be able to come up with a product architecture and manage the resources for timely delivery of the project. The project would largely involve - Build, administer and scale data processing pipelines Improve scalability, stability, accuracy, speed and efficiency of our existing data systems Design, build, test and deploy new libraries, frameworks or full systems for our core trading / investment models while keeping to the highest standards of testing and code quality Work with engineers and product owners to identify and build tools to automate many large-scale data management / analysis tasks Responsible for crafting Complex SQL queries, Stored Procedures, cursors, triggers, ETL etc. Web scrapping to manage data flows & build a sentiment model Have an understanding for the use ML & AI to improve & integrate the various sub systems. Generating a reporting dashboard and UI for the entire system Be comfortable navigating the following technology stack: Python3, scripting (Bash/Python), SQL, AWS, Power BI/Tableau ML & AI, etc. Preferred Technical Skills / Experience: 5 years+ handling complex product teams Master degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or Statistics. Sound technical knowledge of programming languages (like Python, Java/R/Scala, etc) Strong Data analysis, data verification and problem-solving abilities. Should have very good command over large databases (SQL/NoSQL) Good understanding of AWS or other leading cloud platforms Strong skills in new technology trends of ML & AI.
