Description

• Develop & manage category strategy for specific categories assigned to category manager for services and solutions across all centers at VSS.
• Create global savings and deliver on savings targets
• Demand aggregation to leverage Vodafone\'s global scale and scope
• Create synergies with VPC and leverage global deals with localized approach
• Engage with VPC category managers to drive global procurement agenda for procurement driven to VSS.
• Develop a sustainable supplier base and optimize supplier performance to delivery category strategy
• Works with suppliers to identify innovation opportunities for the benefit of the category and Vodafone
• Uses Supply Chain tools, process, policies and standards
• Drive and support implementation of Digital solutions for processes driven through SCM.
• Regularly conducts internal and external benchmarking and is able to negotiate & frame contracts to deliver more value
• Communicate effectively with colleagues, stakeholders and effective influencing of internal customers and external suppliers
• Drive periodic governance meetings / reviews with relevant business stake holders and report exceptions / outliers enabling closure.
• Drive contract management and governance.

Job Responsibility

• Work on cost optimization & generate savings
• Monitoring & improving KPIs around Procurement Process implementation
• Engage with users for Demand finalization & procurement process
• Supplier engagement and supplier performance monitoring for all vendors along with key stakeholders
• Vendor & Contract Management

Core competencies, knowledge and experience :

• Strong professional background in SCM
• Has experience in managing and monitoring Opex & Capex assets

Must have technical / professional qualifications:

• Engineer/MBA from a recognized university
• Minimum 10 years of work experience in Supply Chain & Logistics
