We are looking for an experienced and qualified Company Secretary & Compliance Lead to ensure our company adheres to legal standards and in-house policies. You will be responsible for enforcing regulations in all aspects and levels of business as well as ensure compliance. The role is a vital link between the company and its Board of Directors, shareholders, government and regulatory authorities and all other stakeholders. You are required to have the highest ethical standards and work diligently to complete your duties keeping in mind the objectives of the business. The goal is to preserve the companys integrity by making sure it stays on a lawful and ethical course.
Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with all statutory laws of central, state, and local governments and relevant regulatory bodies such as the RBI. Specifically, ensure compliance with the Companies Act, 2013
Responsible for filing, registering any document including forms, returns and applications by and on behalf of the company as an authorized representative. Coordinate the board/general meetings and follow-up actions thereof

Will be responsible to represent the company and other connected persons before various boards and forums including but not limited to Company Law Board, RBI, SEBI, Registrar of Companies, Tax Tribunals, Consumer Forums and Other quasi-judicial bodies and Tribunals
Appoint and liaise with outside consultants and legal counsel as necessary
Draft, modify and implement company policies. Collaborate with corporate counsels and HR department to monitor enforcement of standards and regulations.
Draft and monitor contracts with third parties. Act as arbitrator/conciliator in domestic and International commercial disputes. Draft Arbitration/Conciliation Agreement/Clause
Requirements:
Qualified member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India.
10+ years of work experience, with 7+ years as a Company Secretary.
Experience with NBFC compliance is strongly preferred.
Experience working in a publicly listed company is a positive.
In-depth knowledge of all statutory laws and relevant regulations.
Excellent knowledge of reporting procedures and record keeping.
Methodical and diligent with outstanding planning abilities.
An analytical mind able to see the complexities of procedures and regulations.
Excellent communication skills.
Undergraduate or Masters Degree in any field of study.
