Role - Warehouse Head


Responsibilities -


• Responsible for management of Logistics and warehousing operations
• Quality: Ensure implementation of quality systems and compliance. All time audit readiness.
• Compliance: Demonstrate compliance with established regulatory guidelines and procedures.
• Documentation Integrity: Adequacy and accuracy of document to support compliance in established procedure & GMP norms.
• To continuously strive for improving the working standards, systems by reviewing, revising SOP's and implements new changes effectively. Systems should facilitate for easy identification of place for storage, traceability of items for issues / stock
• To highlight stock accumulation, discrepancies and abnormal consumption and effective control measures.
• To effectively manage material handling equipment's at Warehouse to ensure uninterrupted service.
• Responsible for effective dispatch and destruction of rejected materials.
• To ensure timely receipt of finish goods material and production blocks as per the material requisitions. Production operations should not be hindered due to delayed services.
• To ensure proper storage of material, to maintain materials in tact condition.
• To train team members on the system, procedure and practices for effective managing of responsibilities.
• To establish safe working practices at warehouse and ensure zero accidents due to unsafe conditions / actions.
• To ensure discipline amongst workmen at the warehouse. Manage good employee relations with workmen.
• To ensure job related training are imparted to all warehouse working staff operation and monitoring of compliance with the requirements of GMP.
• Peripheral activities supporting logistics for smooth operations between warehouses to final destination.
• Support shipment managers.
• Production planning for follow up on production deliveries.
• To ensure compliance of the regulations and standard operating procedures in the warehouse, and to ensure "All time readiness" in the area of control.
• To ensure reduction in shop floor related complaints and unplanned deviation compare to last year.
• To ensure supply of all the committed STO in the month duly released from the block, and to ensure no missed because of warehouse.
• Adherence for daily and month end dispatches.
• Identification of risk and compliances with self-audits.
