The purpose of the re-underwriting is to independently validate the policy/procedure and quality of the information used in the original underwriting decision and to protect Bank of America against fraud and misrepresentation & is required by investors/insurers and the bank. *:The job function is to perform underwriting of Mortgage loans. To provide independent evaluation of compliance with Regulatory-focused policies and procedures. Underwriting review is executed for home loans, impacted by key laws/regulations. Individual will be responsible for delivering consistent processes, procedures and oversight supporting leaders, FLU, and Control Function partners and strategic planning and operational excellence across Enterprise Independent Testing.Responsibilities:

• Execute, organize, and prioritize reviews in a timely manner ensuring monthly deliverables are achieved while maintaining target accuracy ratios.
• Ensure KPI\xe2\x80\x99s are met on monthly basis
• Manage onshore and offshore stakeholders for managing process level activities.
• Adhere to documented SLAs, shift schedules, and maintain on-time delivery of services.
• Conducting Calibration/ Walkthrough with Onshore team.
• Work with India leadership team to manage department level initiatives.
• Responsible for Process Documentations, Access Reviews, Data Retention, updating RSA, ORM etc.
• Collaborate with onshore team on new tests transitions and partner on test development.
• Act as SME handling multiple sub-streams and handle conflicting priorities effectively.
• Ensuring timely resolutions of Queries/clarifications.

Requirements *:Education *: Graduate / Postgraduate in any streamCertifications If Any: Mortgage Underwriting certification from Mortgage Bankers AssociationExperience Range *: 10+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experienceFoundational skills *:

• Strong US Residential Mortgage Underwriting experience
• Experience in completing projects as per deadline
• Knowledge and expertise to influence internal stakeholders & Onshore partners
• Drives Operational Excellence
