Responsibilities
1) Develop the distribution strategy for Diageo in West RPC, including the number and size of distributors, distributor management processes, outlet classifications and best way to effectively cover the outlet universe
2) Lead, sustain and maintain the transformation effort including IT enablement of distributors and their sales teams
3) Drive the S&D KPIs like DSM productivity, line selling, distribution of brands and DSM incentive earning
4) Measure & monitor the distributor ROI, weed out inefficiencies to make the distributor operations more profitable
5) Build a strong platform for distributor engagement with the company - drive performance, set review systems and processes, joint business planning.
6) Capabilty development of the distributor sales teams, collaborating with Diageo capability team to incorporate the Diageo way of world class sales to local teams. Calendar execution through in house and 3rd party trainers.
7) Track and drive the effective coverage of retail universe by a combination of Diageo and distributor sales teams. Set in place systems and processes to ensure the field teams are prioritising their time with high value customers.
8) Drive the right assortment of Diageo brands in the stores measured through MSL adherence. Engage with both internal as well as distributor teams to promote MSL as a way of working.
