JOB DESCRIPTION . Responsible for Tax and Accounting for the legal entity To prepare quarterly packs under IFRS, Ensure timely preparation of financials and audit from auditors without any adverse observations . . Ensure timely filing of tax returns, transfer pricing documents and compliance of Direct and Indirect taxes . To ensure departmental SOP compliance & systems Main Accountabilities Lead team of tax & accounting , monitor work performed by the team and train/develop team members to take additional responsibilities . . Ensure Internal controls are adequately set up, effective and working in the company . Coordination with audits team and ensure timely completion of the audit . Ensure timely completion of month end, quarter end and annual reporting requirements Ensure accurate and timely filing of tax returns for both Direct and Indirect tax. Co-ordinate with tax consultants for closure of tax audits, assessments and appeals . Ensure the accounting activities at the plant including fixed assets, balance sheet reconciliations, clearing of accounts are performed on a timely and accurate manner EXPERTISE AND QUALIFICATIONS . CA with 10-15 years of experience . Preferably from the manufacturing industry in an MNC within the Pharmaceutical/Healthcare Industry . Should have exposure of working in an ERP environment preferably SAP . Should have sound knowledge of IND AS, IFRS, GST, Transfer Pricing and Direct Taxes . Should have led and managed team of size 3 or more
