  • Manage Bank relationship and reconciliation process
  • Projects and Automation
  • Managing Audits, Compliances & Banking Reporting
KEY RESPONSIBILITIESBank Relationship management & reconciliation
  • Engagement with top banks for Industry Benchmarking & Best practices
  • Banking agreement management
  • Review of all Bank A/c reconciliation & ensure closure of open items
Projects and Automation agendaDriving Organizational impacting Projects around:
  • Insta payouts to Individual & Group Policyholders
  • Real time bank integration
  • Implementation cross functional Six Sigma Quality Projects
  • Cost Savings
Audits, Inspection & Reporting
  • Monthly closing & accounting, Quarterly/annual Stat Audit without any observation
  • Building adequate checks and controls ensuring no signification observations from Internal Audits conducted around payment processes
  • Dealing with IRDA Audits, Compliances & reporting of data, reports etc. with aim to have Nil observation
People Agenda & Stakeholder Management
  • Lead consistent engagement with stakeholders including Internal (All department heads & teams, GOs) and External
  • Lead the team with high motivation level and enabling interventions to build it to serve the Policyholders and Internal Customers
  • Eye for detail ensuring process excellence
Key Relationships (Internal /External)Internal: All departments, GOsExternal: Policy holders, Channel Partners & BanksKey competencies/skills required
  • To work closely and build constructive relationship with stakeholders across the organization
  • Innovative and solution mindset to drive high impact cross functional projects
  • Ability to work independently and/or with team to deliver on time
  • Good process & regulatory knowledge coupled with Industry knowledge around Banking
  • Eye for detail to enable process excellence across work profile
Measures of Success-Delivery of TAT as per SLA agreed with cross function teams and internally-Minimum 2 internal audit ratings with no major observations from statutory auditors-Internal process assessment rating among top 3 in the company-Contribution towards Great Place to work-Feedback from SLT and key stakeholdersDesired qualification and experience:
  • Graduate or post graduate (MBA preferably in Finance) with minimum experience of 8-10 years
  • Good knowledge on Accounting, Banking Operations, IRDA regulations, relating to the job profile as applicable,
  • Agility to lead and implement projects involving stakeholders from cross departments in the Organization
  • Ability to handle pressure and work in a competitive environment
