•Job Summary: •

The BIM Manager oversees the implementation and coordination of BIM processes in construction projects. Responsibilities include managing BIM workflows, ensuring data accuracy, facilitating collaboration among project teams, and optimizing the use of BIM technology for efficient project delivery.



Key Responsibilities

• Implement a BIM strategy.
• Creating internal BIM standards
• Attend coordination meetings.
• Enforce project standards.
• Monitor training programme.
• Troubleshoot any BIM related issues.
• Appointing the BIM coordinator
• BIM Managers enforce quality and standards.
• Lead meetings.
• Research new BIM related software
• Updating internal protocols within the organization



Pre-Bid Design:

During the pre-bid design stage, a BIM Manager plays a crucial role in facilitating the integration of Building Information Modelling (BIM) processes.

Assessment of BIM Requirements - The BIM Manager collaborates with project stakeholders to assess BIM requirements for the specific project. This involves understanding the client's needs, project scope, and any BIM-related specifications.



Execution of Contract :

Model Development and Coordination-
• Create, manage, and update 3D models using BIM software (e.g., Revit, Navisworks).
• Collaborate with design and construction teams to address clashes and discrepancies, ensuring the accuracy and consistency of information in BIM models.
• Establish and ensure adherence to BIM modelling standards and protocols.
• Conduct regular coordination meetings to address BIM-related issues and ensure alignment with project goals.
• Provide technical support and guidance to project team members on BIM-related matters.


Quality Assurance and Control:
• Conduct regular quality checks on BIM models to ensure compliance with project standards and specifications.
• Address and resolve issues related to model accuracy, completeness, and integrity.


Documentation and Reporting:
• Generate regular reports on project progress, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and recommended improvements.


Client Interaction:
• Collaborate with clients to understand and incorporate their BIM requirements into project deliverables.
• Present BIM-related information to clients in a clear and understandable manner.
• Address client inquiries and concerns related to BIM coordination.


BIM Project Management :
• Take charge of coordination in BIM projects throughout their entire lifecycle.
• Create and uphold project schedules, guaranteeing that BIM activities are in sync with overall project goals.
• Monitor and track the progress of BIM projects, ensuring adherence to established timelines.
• Periodic maintenance and sanitation of the folder structure
