The purpose of this role is to be responsible for managing the platforms and ensuring the achievement of annual targets in terms of revenue and operating expenses.Main Accountabilities :

  • Driving the sales performance of the e-commerce platform
  • Managing and executing promotional campaigns
  • Providing insights on customer shopping trends to support assortment selection and identify assortment gaps
  • Ensuring good customer service by addressing and ensuring the timely resolution of customer issues or comments
  • Working closely with demand planning and warehousing teams in order to ensure smooth order fulfillment
  • Providing analysis and reporting on metrics such as weekly/monthly sales by department, new product sell-through, and offering code performance
Impact/Dimensions :
  • Developing and executing online marketing campaigns, managing the company\'s online sales inventory, analyzing sales data, handling customer inquiries and complaints, and ensuring a seamless online shopping experience for customers.
  • Involved in optimizing website functionality, monitoring website traffic and performance, and collaborating with other departments such as IT, marketing, and sales to drive online sales growth.
  • Incumbent needs to have strong analytical skills, knowledge of e-commerce platforms and tools, digital marketing expertise, and excellent communication and project management skills. Incumbent will play a crucial role in driving online revenue and ensuring the success of the company\'s e-commerce operations.
Key Performance Indicators :
  • Sales Performance: This KPI measures total sales, conversion rates, average order value, and total revenue generated by the eCommerce platform.
  • Website Traffic: Monitoring website traffic metrics including unique visitors, page views, bounce rate, and session duration.
  • Conversion Rate: Tracking the percentage of website visitors who make a purchase, sign up, or complete another desired action.
  • Average Order Value : Monitoring the average amount customers spend per order.
  • Cart Abandonment Rate: Assessing the percentage of users who add items to their cart but do not complete the purchase.
  • Return on Investment : Calculating the return on marketing campaigns, investments in technology, and other resources.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Monitoring customer feedback, reviews, and overall satisfaction with the shopping experience.
  • Inventory Management: Tracking inventory turnover rate, stock levels, and ensuring optimal stock availability to meet customer demand.
  • Profit Margins: Monitoring gross and net profit margins to ensure profitability and cost efficiency.
