We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Distribution Center Operations Head to lead our fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) warehousing operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end operations of our distribution center, ensuring seamless coordination, optimal efficiency, and compliance with industry standards. • Develop and execute strategic plans for FMCG warehousing operations, aligning with overall organizational objectives.

• Implement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels.

2. Operational Leadership:

• Provide hands-on leadership to the distribution center team, overseeing daily operations, order fulfillment, and inventory management.

• Ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements.

3. Inventory Management:

• Implement effective inventory control measures to maintain accurate stock levels and minimize discrepancies.

• Collaborate with demand planning and procurement teams to optimize stock levels based on market demand.

4. Order Fulfilment and Distribution:

• Oversee the multi channel order fulfilment process, ensuring timely and accurate picking, packing, and shipping of FMCG products.

• Optimize distribution routes and transportation logistics to meet delivery timelines.

5. Process Optimization:

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to streamline FMCG warehousing operations.

• Implement best practices to enhance overall productivity and reduce order processing times.

6. Quality Assurance:

• Establish and enforce quality control measures to ensure the integrity of FMCG products throughout the warehousing and distribution process.

• Conduct regular audits and implement corrective actions as needed.

7. Technology Integration:

• Evaluate and implement warehouse management systems (WMS) and other technology solutions to enhance operational efficiency.

• Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in FMCG warehousing technology.

Qualifications:1. BE/B tech/MBA from premium institute2. Proven experience 5-7 years in a leadership role overseeing FMCG warehousing operations.3. Strong knowledge of FMCG distribution, multi channel fulfilment ,inventory management, and order fulfilment processes.4. Excellent leadership and team management skills.5. Familiarity with warehouse management systems and other relevant technologies.6. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.7.
