We are inviting applications for the role of Senior Manager - Data Scientist In this role, you are expected to provide data science backed valuable insights to a Hospitality/Media organization. The team depends primarily on data for driving various initiatives and therefore requires an adequate blend of analytical storytelling and decision making abilities. Your key responsibilities include, but not limited to, determining the operational objectives, preparing business reports for end user consumption, develop predictive models to forecast business KPIs. To grow and be successful in this role you need to have a natural analytical way of thinking, understand the business concepts and an affinity towards process improvement. Responsibilities Ensure execution of critical project deliverables, including driving innovative implementation and insights derived from unstructured data. . Ensure validation of the data, outcomes and manage stakeholders expectations and communications . Conceptualize and develop relevant Data Analysis solutions for the customer in focus . Proven expertise in deriving insights from large distributed databases. . Expert level proficiency in Statistical modeling, Time series forecasting, and Machine Learning . Demonstrated ability to Conduct look-ahead client relevant research with focus on supplementing and strengthening the client&rsquos analytics agenda with newer tools and techniques that can better answer business questions. Qualifications we seek in you! Minimum qualifications . Sound knowledge of statistics (e.g. multivariate statistics, predictive) . At least 6-8 years of experience, of which minimum 5 years in statistical modeling using massive data sets using R and/or Python . In depth knowledge of solving business problems with predictive modelling, using multiple regression, time series forecasting , classification & clustering . Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint . Prior experience in visual data presentations . Excellent communication and presentation skill . Work independently with minimum supervision, and to collaborate effectively as part of a team . High degree of flexibility, versatility, and self-motivation are key . Willingness and desire to learn and grow . Master Degree in Statistics/Economics/Mathematics /Quantitative Methods or related fields Preferred qualifications . Well organized, dependable and independent thinker are few of the qualities that we are looking for .
