Job Description
Responsibilities :Commodity Manager will be responsible for : Driving strategy of assigned commodities along with Global and Regional Stake Holders Manage cordial and healthy relationship with all supplier(s) / partner(s) Manage cost, keep all stake holders updated on market trends Identify opportunities for reducing cost and lead time while improving Supply Chain agility Supporting Global Commodity Manager for Global activities Supporting factories in de-bottlenecking of supply constraints Budgeting activities Benchmarking of cost and supply chain model, implementation of VMI Key Commodities : Circuit Breaker / Switches / Fuses / Relays / Fans / Batteries Lead and supports data analysis for cost optimization to support negotiation strategies and compare vendor bids. Work closely with Business stakeholders, Finance and Legal as part of Strategic Sourcing process. Education BE EE or Mech / MBA desirable Other Requirements 5+ years of experience in Strategic Sourcing E-Sourcing experience, specifically with reverse auctions Strong analytical skills and expert user at Microsoft Excel A strong business acumen Ability to work within a matrix management environment Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively Process improvement skills Project Management Skills - Ability to organize and schedule people and tasks Highly organized and can multi-task
