Assesses supplier\'s products to ensure that they comply with specifications and meet the organization\'s quality standards.This role in summaryLeading & Executing long term strategy for an Compressors / Cooling / Motors / Gearbox commodity for India Team with Specific focus on Localization.Your responsibilities will includeLead & develop detailed strategic approach to manage Strategic sourcing of C&C commodity (Compressors Single Speed, Variable speed, Evaporator, Condenser, Heat exchanger, Vacuum insulated panels, cooling system etc) to set future targets across standards, cost, performance , warranty and Lead time.Accountable for developing & executing a Category Sourcing Strategy plan with focus on Localization of Commodity with Make in India mind-set with Best cost solution.Accountable for delivering Net Material cost Price Target for through Negotiations, Hedging of Raw Materials & Fx rate, Pre-buy/Inventory Support, Tariff Mitigation projects & most critical Localization projectsBuilding strong relationships with key stakeholders within the corporate, suppliers and factory levels to execute sourcing strategies for commodities to drive value and significantly impact bottom-line profitability.Leading team and ensuring Talent Management, development, succession &retention Plan.To Plan and Lead Negotiation & Supply chain management to Global regions andIndia with support of Target costing, Market Intelligence & Data Analytics.Devise and employ fruitful sourcing strategies to discover the most profitable suppliers and initiate business partnershipTo be good in Data Information management, Financial reporting support from procurement perspective.Manage Total Cost Of Ownership (BOM, Overall Cost Structure, Quality & logistics)To be responsible as leader for Purchase order, SAP usage, Schedule Management, Supplier Insurance for daily productionPerform risk management regarding supply contracts and agreementsAnalyzing and deciphering change / improvement opportunities to root cause and corrective actionsMonitoring , communicating and Driving progress on projects. Should be Good in Excel & Good Sheet.Minimum requirementsEDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & CERTIFICATIONSB.Tech.
