Role ProfileWe are looking for dynamic and forward-looking Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) - Senior Manager of Oracle Cloud Fusion Engineering to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing OICS, BIP Reporting development, including the setup, configuration, and management, as well as coordinating OCI support and leading the Oracle Cloud ERP, BIP Reporting and OICS Development team members. The candidate must have full understanding the end-to-end configuration, technical dependencies, and overall behavioral characteristics of large-scale implementation of Cloud Fusion.Responsibility includes development and implementation of critical test cases with focus on security, resiliency, scale, and performance. Partner with development teams and work towards addressing and fixing production issues on cloud, defining and implementing product enhancements. Collaborate with various cloud operations teams to understand the production issues and work towards to create a reproducible test case in the lab environment to present to the development team.BackgroundLSEG have embarked on a Finance Transformation programme, to deliver our Finance Vision and transform the way we work to create value and deliver sustainable growth for the business. The Programme is driving efficiencies and maximising benefits for LSEG by moving to a single cloud-based Enterprise Resource Planning and Performance Management (Oracle Fusion/EPM/EDM/OICS).As a Senior Manager of OCS Oracle Cloud Fusion Engineering, will be responsible for:

  • Develop, maintain and support integrations, extensions, reports, and applications components in Oracle Cloud Fusion Technologies.(Fusion, OICS, BIP Reporting, ADW, EPM, EDM, Apex and Guided Learning etc.,)
  • Planning & managing the detail plans, timelines, requirements across wider stakeholders.
  • Handling & leading a development team, guiding developers in day-to-day design and coding tasks, stepping into code as well. Growing team by recruiting and hiring top talent.
  • Design, implementation of projects and delivering large-scale projects on-time with high quality.
  • Working closely with Leadership team, Product Managers, Architects, QA and other dependent development teams.
  • Help define the Cloud roadmap for the offering to increase customer adoption and value
  • Working and influencing various development teams and customers to ensure the product is developed and delivered as planned
  • Demonstrate effective and trustworthy leadership, motivate team, ensure and implement adoption of scrum and agile development.
  • Identify the risks that can delay the release and manage them, such that the scope scheduled, and quality of the release is not affected.
  • Plan and give weekly updates on the release activities.
  • Contribute in CAB, Backlog refinement meetings to discuss the release schedules with the team and find roadblocks.
  • Make improvements in the methodologies used for configuration management and development of software that helps to find ways to use in configuration management.
Knowledge/Skills
  • Experience building features with technologies Oracle Cloud Fusion, OICS, BIP Reporting, REST services, Java, ADF, SOA, PL/SQL, Paython, Oracle Database ADW.
  • Extensive Development management experience on SaaS products leading global engineering teams in UK, US, India, and other Asian & European countries.
  • Experience and Skill of leading virtual teams, partner across organizational boundaries and influence development direction and Ability to motivate, grow and guide developers.
  • Work independently and solve problems and are willing to do what it takes to get things done.
  • Ability to establish relationships and influence outside of authority while demonstrating Oracle expertise and resources.
  • Effective interpersonal skills (written and spoken) and strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced Agile development and rapid deployment in the Student Cloud/SaaS environment
  • Strong inclination towards test driven development
  • Extensive experience of Oracle Cloud and EBS R12 /RMB Architecture
  • Hands on Knowledge on Cloud at Customer (GEN I, GEN II) or similar PaaS/IaaS experience
  • Expertise in managing and working with Oracle support, consulting teams and should have a through understanding of the process that is involved dealing with Oracle SRs.
  • Team player, able to work with different levels in the organization across multiple time zones.
  • Naturally inquisitive, able to think creatively and offer solutions or alternative viewpoints.
Experience
  • Knowledge of Oracle Cloud Fusion, OICS, BIP Reporting, REST services, Java, ADF, SOA, PL/SQL, Paython, Oracle Database ADW Applications Seeded Customization Framework, OATs. PSR Tools, Accessibility Testing Tools preferred
  • Experience in continuous delivery, deployment and monitoring of cloud-based services.
  • Experience managing Oracle ERP Cloud Fusion Applications infrastructure and leading end to end operations for change control boards
  • More than 12years of experience in Oracle ERP applications Implementation
  • Experience working within a Finance Technology function, preferably with large Financial Services Organisation.
  • Experience in driving high availability, resiliency, and scalability of a global Oracle ERP Cloud Fusion Applications landscape delivering metrics-driven continuous improvements.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional Directors and global leads
  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
